    “Our stay at Mexico was fantastico!!”

    The service and room was impeccable. Our room was right near the beach and it was wonderful! The food at the Oriental restaurant was really nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family and we will return in the very near future.

    “Wonderful”

    The hot tub wasn't "hot" and the bartenders weren't always the nicest people. Besides that, everyone else was wonderful and the hotel was great! I went with my friends and we enjoyed it very much. I would go there and again and recommend it to anyone!

    “Grand Park Royal - our stay”

    We have visited this property every year for the past 15 years, and love it. The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, as well as the curtesy of the staff is exceptional. The food is good, but not outstanding, Both my husband and I would highly recommend this hotel for an enjoyable vacation.

    “Wonderful anniversary trip!”

    The resort was beautiful and well maintained. Our beach front room in the Premier Tower was large, spotless and very modern. Loved the large shower with multiple shower-heads, especially after a long hot day of sightseeing. Our room was quiet (did not hear other guests) and tranquil and we spent much of our room time out on the balcony, soaking up the view. The pools and beach and bars were only steps away. The staff were very helpful and eager to please. We ate at the Oriental restaurant on our last evening and wished we had made reservations every night; the food was excellent and we enjoyed the romantic atmosphere. The main buffet restaurant offered a large variety of options, but we were challenged to find many gluten free choices for my husband (although we did not ask for accommodation). We would definitly stay at the Grand Park Royal again. We were there in early May and the resort was underfilled; we were told that the tourist season would be in full swing the next week, so that was lucky timing! It was a wonderfully relaxing trip.

    “Astengo-Ravilet Family stay, Jan 2012”

    It was a great experience, and a big surprise when we were room updated. We didn't know the hotel was part of the VIP Access program. In general the hotel is very family oriented, but I think there is a good chance for couples also, because there is a second pool area that is more quiet, with no activities, and got the pool bar. The view from this pool is geougeus, you can see both Cancun water areas, the ocena and the lake (laguna). The staff is very kind, and there is a group in charge of the activities. We went with our three kids there (22, 20 and 18), and they had a wonderful time also.

    “3rd trip to cancun!!!”

    Third time in Cancun, first time at this hotel. Everyone was very pleasant and willing to help. The beds in the room were hard.. but the views from the room made up for that. The food was good considering we ate the buffet for most meals. The snack shop with burgers, hotdogs and pizza were an excellent option while at the pool. The staff at the pool were very entertainig "sexy Carlos"!!! I would say the only issue I had was the game that seemed to be played each day with the pool chairs/huts/beds.... People were allowed to put towels on the chairs etc. and then leave for hours to nap or eat while others had no place to sit and the management did nothing about it... I think if you leave to eat or nap whatever.. if the chairs are vacant for 30 minutes you need to move your stuff or have the staff move it. That was super frustrating!!!!! Overall it was a great stay and I would stay at this hotel again.

    “Tropical oasis”

    The food was wonderful, the drinks were wonderful. The rooms were kept very clean, there was always someone cleaning the floors, pruning plants, etc. The pool area was awesome, the staff was constantly picking up any empty cups that might be laying around, they kept the paths very clean and the pools clean. The entertainment staff were awesome!! They made everyone feel included no matter what age. The entertainment was clean since there are young kids. I definitely recommend this resort and would definitely return. I can't say enough about it. The one thing I would like to mention is about the bottled water, this should be made more readily available and be no limit. That was the only disappointing thing about the stay.

    “Quiet, touch of elegance, delicious, friendly”

    I did a lot of research, reading tips like this, and they were all pretty accurate. What a nice, elegant, clean, friendly place to stay. From the clean, pleasing room to the extremely fresh, delicious, and diverse food and drink. This hotel is HIGHLY recommended by us. My husband and I went for just 4 days to celebrate my 50th birthday. If you want quiet, ask for the top floor of the main building or pay extra and stay in the Royal Tower. Hang out at the zero depth adult pool. But, if you want activities and want to be entertained, hang out at the other (main pool). The area of the resort is quite large--just right. The drinks were always made with Cuervo, Absolute, mid-class liquor if you ask for it. NO ONE expected tips, but we gave out dollar bills. The beach was sooooo clean. We saw an emplyee digging this HUGE hole to discard the washed-up seaweed!
