Not bad but not greatPosted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: Location -nice beach
Cons: Stop selling me excursions or time share I didn't t come to be asked to fork out money to you daily.
Location: Take the bus for 75 cents around town. Very convenient and safe.
Flight got canceled on United Airlines (poor quality flight- avoid at ALL COSTS) and this hotel gave away our room so that when we did arrive we had to wait until check in time of 3pm as if we never reserved a room to begin with. Then, we get sent to a hotel 'hostess' to give is a 'tour' of premises. Her name was Iliana and she just wanted to swindle us into a 90 minute presentation of timeshare. After being told we had to wait until 3pm to check in a day after our paid arrivals we were directed of buffet without a wristband. So my husband and I ate then asked the waiter why he was serving us without a wristband. He said he was going to call someone to help us and instead called the manager to question why we were there partakingof all inclusive without an wristband. Our dumb check in representative, David, did not provide us with a wristband and his clueless sidekick Iliana also didn't give us one before directing us to eat at the restaurant. I explained this to the manager and was told to go back to reception to get a wristband. Lucky for us we had already eaten. Finally get our wristband and get told rudely that our room is still not ready, eventhough at that point we had already paid for a night we didn't even get to enjoy thanks to United Airlines' canceled flight. I asked to be upgraded because we were honeymooners and we got NOTHING,!! We were treated like run of the mill guests and were called on the phone to buy timeshare numerous times. NO THANKS, INCOMPETENT SHARKS

Great StayPosted Dec 15, 2014
Great hotel, good food, love the infinity pool as you can see the sunset over the sea side (typically blocked by taller hotels in the area) close to the city too!! Overall great experience

BEWARE OF THE CONCIERGE!!!Posted Dec 14, 2014
Cons: Get rid of the concierge service....
The "concierge" service in this hotel is comparable to that of a hundred vultures trying to get the most out of road kill....! Concierge is supposedly another word for butler.... but these people are only courteous with you as long as they have you trapped in their web of deceit. This Hotel is part of one of the many "time-share" type deals under Holiday Royal... the only thing these concierge people are interested in is getting to entice customers into agreeing to show up to a presentation of Holiday Royal's time-share deals... they will promise it will only take 90mins of your time, but do not be fooled, it robbed us of 3hrs of our precious honeymoon time.... they promised us discounts on tours, which turned out to inapplicable.... in other words, a big FAT LIE... Our particular concierge had even shown us a list of discounted tour prices that he could get for us.... at the end, he told us the hotel prices were much too high, but he had a friend outside of the hotel that could score us with lower rates on these tours. Thankfully by then, my husband and I were starting to become distrustful, and decided not to search out this mystery friend of the concierge, but to buy from the hotel, using the discount voucher Holiday Royal provided us. When we went to book our tours, we ran into the very UNPLEASANT surprise that the tour prices the concierge had promised and shown us were all a big LIE.... then since he got in trouble with management, he had the guts to yell at us!!!!

Too many restrictionsPosted Dec 14, 2014
Supposed to be a kids friendly resort but beware as your kids will not be allowed in the speciality restaurants. We took our 2 yr old daughter with us only to realize we can't dine in with her and that their day care (open only until early evening) won't take kids less than 4 yrs. room service menu is limited so if you can't eat in speciality restaurants you're just eating sandwiches and soups.

Great hotel right on the beach!Posted Dec 9, 2014
Beautiful room, awesome private view of the beach, amazing staff, great food, beach front right outside the elevator. the only negative was the very firm double beds, no queen or King size bed in our beach front tower.

All-Inclusive deal is the best part of this hotel.Posted Dec 6, 2014
We couldn't resist eating big for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while staying at the resort. Try to walk around the resort after dinner unless you mind putting more weight on the way home. Don't waste your time with anybody offering a discount and gifts by the lobby and hallways.

Excluding time share and paid gym its greatPosted Dec 6, 2014
Overall great location and ameneties, strongly recommend avoiding their timeshare presentation, no matter how much they claim its different , its not....dont waste half of your precious day there. we stayed at the old building for first night and after seeing the new building decided to upgrade. The new tower is definitely much better, closer to the beach and includes a heated Jacuzzi tub. For three nights at this better room we had to shed additional usd 120. Food was overall great, the buffet was OK, La Concha and oriental and midori was better. Cocktail drinks were great, room service wasn't prompt. Overall great value for your money....beware all inclusive doesn't include gym.

Nice buffePosted Dec 5, 2014
We ate all three meals at same restaurant. However the meal has changed every day so we enjoyed to eat. Also there was a cafe next to restaurant. It served 8 kinds of ice cream so my sons ordered almost every flavor, it sounded fun.
