“Isla experience was great”

We arrived early and was greeted by Efrani, although our room wasnt ready, it was only noon, he upgraded us to a bay view room...He held our luggage for us while we ventured into the village for lunch..Upon our return we were escorted to our bay view room it was exactly as described very clean and minimal..very comfortable space with a great balacony although there were no chairs or tables on it....it provided a great view of the sun setting over the bay as well as a comfortable breeze. The continental breakfast was fruit yogurt and toast....as well as juice and coffe...it was ample but could have been more substantial...THe hotel area wasin a convinentnet location and very quiet...Again i cant stress how helpful and courteous the staff was during our week long stay.. We would definitly stay at this hotel again..

“Great newer hotel on Isla Mujeres”

Our room was better than we expected, kept very clean, was within about 2 blocks of the ferry terminal, so was easily accessed. Swerveda very simple, but satisfying breakfast. I have stayed on Isla Mujeres 2 other times and would return to this hotel again.

“Best place to stay in Isla Mujeres”

I had travel to 5 continents, I know about good and bad service when I see it and this hotel is one of the best hotels. Hotel Bahia Chac -Chi is a modern boutique Hotel. It's located 100 meters from the ferry dock and a short 5 min walk to the North beach and dining areas on Isla Mujeres. We spend “dia de Reyes” and Miguel Diaz (Manager) invited us for Rosca de Reyes bread, which is a tradition on this day excellent! If you can get a Bahia room has the best view of the Bahia and sunsets are to die for! Make sure you visit their website since they have the best rate there. The breakfast includes fruits, juice, coffee and bread laid back and enjoy Isla as it was meant to be. If you desire a more complete breakfast there many little places you can have some for a few dollars. The staff is always willing to help and are hard working people will go out of heir way to help you find or accommodate your needs. We are sure we book this place next time we visit Isla mujeres.

“good value”

Pros---everything is new, suuuper comfortable mattress, complimentary beach towels, free wi-fi that works great(even in the room!) Cons---kinda far from north beach, the pool is small and strange(no big deal, really), my room was facing the back and there was a lot of noise from the kids playing in the pool at the hotel next door. I was there during semana santa, so this may not be an issue at other times. I did figure out that I could leave the fan on at night to help drown out some noise.

“COMFORTABLE!!!”

I just spent 4 nights at the Bahia this month. I love the location! It's on the main road, close to the ferry. Just far enough from the busy Hidalgo, but only a couple blocks to walk. The beds are amazingly comfortable!! Very simple room. Just what I need and nothing else. I'll be back in late July! :-)

“My birthday trip”

The Hotel Bahai was a great deal. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A simple continental breakfast of fruit, cereal and yogurt was offered daily. The pool area was nice. It is right across the street from the ferry. Walking distance to downtown and the beach. The elevator was not working but that wasn't a big deal since we were on the second floor. (It only has 5 floors.) I would stay there again.

“Clean, comfortable, and quiet”

Stayed at the Bahia Chac Chi the end of April, wonderful staff, clean and very confortable beds and could walk to the Soggy Peso, great Thatched bar 15 min walk past the airport on the right. Negatives, breakfast was minimal, not much fruit or yogourt and cereal was kids cereal, fruit loops, cocoa puffs....and no fridges in rooms. Brought our own beach chairs and cooler for the beach, bit of a walk in the heat. Overall would stay there again for the price we paid, great value!
