You-get-what-you-pay-for hotelPosted Jul 11, 2014
The hotel is far away from all the action in Cancun. Moreover, the air conditioning had no temperature display or remote control, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted. When we requested another room, the front desk told us they were all set to a cold 18 degrees Celsius. We demanded a technician who could set the temperature higher, and when he came he told us there were indeed rooms available with adjustable air conditioners. He arranged a different room for us, but there the temperature display was definitely not accurate. A smell of paint outside the room, and a tiny pool contributed to the disappointment. The front desk was situated behind bars, reminiscent of a bank in a bad neighborhood.

Not the nicest area to stay inPosted Jul 11, 2014
Staff were okay but the place smelt and was not visually appealing. Just looked dirty.

Nice hotel for the pricePosted Jun 12, 2014
I came here just to spend a night before going to the resort, and I stayed here ONLY because I arrived late this date and thought not to pay the nite for an all inclusive resort thinking it was going to be a wasted nite...bad move! The location of the hotel its in the center of the city butthe surroundings are not good at all, If you need food or medicines or something at night make sure you have it with you, because there's not enough lights on he surroundings and it can be dangerous.

Too secluded, far from everything.Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: DONT EVER EAT AT THE RESTAURANT. Food was expensive and terrible. You would be better off eating at a MCDonalds. Place was clean but looked a bit old.
I thought the hotel was closer to downtown. It is far from town and in a very secluded area. We were told by many taxi drivers that that neighborhood was very dangerous because there were many bars around. Drunken people would be roaming around at night and there is no telling what can happen. We were told not to walk around the streets at night. DONT EVER EAT AT THE RESTAURANT. Food was expensive and terrible. You would be better off eating at a MCDonalds.Place was clean but looked a bit old. Staff didn't do much to make our stay pleasant. I left my daughter's pillow in the room after I checked out and the guy who was there refused to let me back in the room to get it. He told me they had already given out the room to someone else and he was not told of any personal belongings left in the room. And that he wouldn't know where the pillow would be.

Good price, bad location!Posted Apr 10, 2014
Arrived at night for a one night stay and found our hotel in the old part of town. Very sketch even the cab drivers were surprised that we were staying there. We were all very relieved that we only stayed one night! No elevator, not a lot of guest but we were put on the 3rd, sweltering floor. None of us would stay there again, even for one night!

Good when there's running water!!Posted Apr 8, 2014
The hotel was good until we woke up on the day we were supposed to go to another city for an important meeting and there was no water. We didn't get to shower or use the restroom before we left! When we returned 3 days later, the water hadn't been fixed!! Luckily, it turned back on later that night. The wifi wasn't reliable - which didn't matter to us, but another guest was very upset about it!

The mini all inclusive hotelPosted Mar 18, 2014
It was a last minute booking not knowing what to expect I was pleaseantly surprised. Great service, friendly staff and nice amenities. It's priced between 28.00 usd and 50.00 usd depends how you book it. I recommend using Expedia. Mine was 36.00 I added the American breakfast. There is a restaurant/bar that opens at 7pm and closes at 10pm. You also have a great view of all the neighboring rooftops. You are greeted with a smile at all times and they will accommodate you to the fullest. Once your in the room it's a cozy Mexican pueblo vibe. Plus you get all your toiletries. Located about 10 mins away from the Cocobobgo and 15 from the main hotel area. Less than 2.00 usd gets you a round trip on the bus. Or a taxi for 25 usd.

Secure parking, convenient locationPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: In the older, locals part of Cancun. Restaurants and main routes within walking distance. Complimentary breakfast was fine. Helpful staff.
Cons: Rooms could use a little updating, but clean and functional.
Location: Walking distance to restaurants and major routes for buses.
We were a couple, arriving later in the evening with a rental car. Just staying over one night in Cancun before moving on and were looking for somewhere reasonably priced and convenient for the night.
