For what you pay, it was a fair deal.Posted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Maids were quite friendly, of course I tipped them every other day, could that be the reason? They also kept my room spotless.
Cons: Wi-fi access sucks. You need to sit in the smallish front lobby to connect to it. There are two couches to sit on and no A/C, it could get uncomfortab
Location: Great location, close to all the action, bring ear plugs, if you intend to turn in before 0100 hrs on the weekends. Blaring disco music some nights.
No facecloths ever, no access to ice for the room, mini frig did not have ice-making capabilities. Great location across the street from the beach, close to restaurants, and a reasonable price. What more could a poor wage slave like myself want? The air-conditioner was quiet and ran continuously for eight days, like that feature immensely. Towels were frayed and had holes in them but clean and replaced every day. Hey, it's Mexico at $50 per night.

The most bang for your buck with a great location.Posted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Location location location is probably the most attractive part.
Cons: The hotel has recently added a new section of rooms however an upgrade of the older part is required.
Location: Across the street from and around the corner of one of Mexico,s and others nicest sand beach.Great local eats nearby and plenty of bars .
The staff was very friendly and accommodating .the hotel has one of the most convenient locations on the island ....close to the beach and the Main Street downtown. The pool and bar area around it is a great place to just chill and let the island,s relaxing feel take over.

Comfortable hotel close to town and the beachPosted Sep 21, 2013
Pros: Great location
Cons: At times we didn't have any hot water.
Location: Located on a main street with a large public beach and close to downtown area with many things to do - shop, eat, site see, swim, snorkel, beach, etc.
Enjoyed our stay. The hotel was close to town and the beach and the staff is very friendly. It is an older property but very clean and they are continually working on it to keep it up to date. Met many nice folks from the states as well. Would stay there again.

Location is great - property is not.Posted Sep 13, 2013
All their rooms have "New" in their name so when booking online you think you are getting the new section but even the old section is called new. The old section is noisy and smell old as well. There are better places on the island to stay for more affordable prices.

Great LocationPosted Aug 28, 2013
Cons: Pool and amenities
This hotel has a great location, clean rooms and pleasant staff. The downsize pool really needs updating, room didn't have coffee maker and you are only given to full size towells. No hand or face towells. For the price I think you can get a better deal.

Can't beat the location!Posted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
For what it's worth, we didn't travel to Isla to stay in a hotel all day. This hotel is an excellent value for its location more than anything else; right next to the best beach on the island and a few steps to best restaurants in center. It's a great deal. The pool leaves much to be desired. but you can refill your water bottles in the lobby! Rooms were clean, air conditioners worked well, and beds were fine (not sure about the reviews saying they were hard).

Miss It AlreadyPosted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: The hotel's proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. is excellent. The hotel was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed.
Cons: Would like to be able to lock/unlock patio door from outside on ground level rooms. This would make it easier to go directly to/from swimming pool.
Location: Easily within walking distance to ferry & downtown. Rent a golf-cart 1 day for attractions like Dolphin Discovery, island scenery just minutes away.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times. The staff seemed friendlier, more helpful on this trip than in the past. Upgrades to the rooms also made our stay more pleasant. The air conditioner has been upgraded and the ceiling fan improves circulation. Maintaining cool temps in the room is critical for me and I have no complaints. I was also pleased by the changes made to the bathroom shower. There is a large opening between the shower and ceiling which keeps the bathroom cooler. Although we had to make a $100 key deposit for the in-room safe it was worth it and of course we were reimbursed for it at checkout.
