An OK hotel for hitch-hikers.

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: The price and the pool.
Cons: the service, and the cleanliness. As well as the breakfast in the hotel.
Location: market 28. Plaza de las palapas. Mambo Cafe (discoteque)
It was far away from the beach, in all the tours I was the last person to leave the bus, the staff always act as if they hear you, but once you ask a favour, they write a note in a book and never fix it. The WiFi wasn't working properly and one day they organized my room, they did not left any towels. What is good about this hotel, is that is cheaper than the ones in the hotel zone, and the "plaza de las palapas" is just behind the hotel where you can get typical food. Around 5 block away there is a market of hand crafted art.

Hotel dans le centre ville de cancun

Posted Jan 18, 2015

Posted Jan 16, 2015

Hotel muy austero

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: nada

Exquisite as well as comfortable, high quality

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: Beauty, comfort, informative, clean , attentive service...at a reasonable price. It worked well for us, we are seniors and it was easy and central.
Cons: To have known ahead if there were options for a quieter room, which walking around, there seemed to be many choices..even elevators and more arte .
Location: Easy access to local markets, ferry to the beach to swim, for a nice day trip, variety of restaurants and places to catch a bite easily accessed.
A wonderful place ,beautiful poetry and art in every corner- centrally located, good mattress and tasteful historical decor- enjoyed a nice breakfast included...reasonably priced stay, very helpful front desk folks- we stayed in a suite- just over the Kereoke--so noise was an issue at times for us keeping us up, - next time hope to stay at one of their quieter regular rooms. We had a wonderful time and it was so easy to keep this home base while visiting the area.. highly recommend, unless you need to locate in a high rise hotel on the beach-- we enjoyed going on the ferry to Isla Mujeres, not far to enjoy the beachside! WE love it there and will go back.

No sleep hotel: beware attached karaoke bar!

Posted Dec 13, 2014
I payed for a king size suite to enjoy the last night of our trip in moderate luxury. The rooms are not nearly as nice as they are in the pictures on the web page. My room began to shake at about 9:30pm as all the big Suites are directly over the bar which I gather had been rented out for a birthday party. At 1 am out of desparation I asked to be moved to a more quiet room which was not much of an improvement. It was a downgrade, my husband and I couldn't sleep in the same bed together and a non working window facing the bar was stuck open letting in noise and mosquitoes which bit me throught the night until I left at 6am. Considering how non peaceful my stay was and that I am 7 months pregnant, they could have maybe given me a break on the price or upgraded my continental breakfast to include the beans and eggs. Nobody seemed to care that I was so miserable and unable to relax or sleep. Instead of being relaxed after my trip I came down with a cold because of sleep deprivation. This place was torture.
