Great food and service ... love, love, love this p

Pros: the food was excepionally good ... very wholesome, massage on the beach was amazing, the Japanese Habachi was awesome.
Cons: the Japanese restaurant was great, but the food was a bit tasteless ... could have had more flavor.
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, facilities spotlessly clean ... the hotel smells amazing!

We Love Iberostar!!

We were here for a H.S. Graduation/Birthday celebration. We brought supplies to decorate but guest services hooked us up with a surprise and decorated it all so well. They even provided a bottle of champagne. Not our first visit with this location and DEFINITELY won't be our last.

Make sure you get the all inclusive package. It made the whole trip perfect. I loved the activities, food, drinks, sun, sand and so many things about this place. One of the best places I have ever stayed at!!!

Nice hotel with beach

Beach is right there with hotel, also a guge pool area with bar in pool. Alir of activities for people of all ages with a grest entertainment crew. The room was nice and food wad good. Staff were very nice. I not only would recommend this to friends and family but would stay here again!

Nice hotel but a few things to work on

This is a nice hotel with a good location. The facilities are clean and well maintained - the pool areas are great! Two things they can work on: service around the pool. They don't come around as often as you'd like and you can't order food from your seats. Also, the food was not as high quality as I expected considering the room rates.

Awesome hotel with great employees!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Iberostar and absolutely loved it! Being college students in our 20's we were afraid the hotel would be overrun with families and young children, but it wasn't. We found a lot of couples and groups that were around our age, which was unlike previous resorts I've been to. The rooms were always very clean. The only issue I had with the rooms is that you have to have the balcony door shut a certain way or the air conditioning will not work, oftentimes we would leave our room and it would be on and would come back to the room and the A/C was off. The food was good, but like any of the resorts in Cancun can get repetitive. At the buffet we sat in Josue's section for breakfast and lunch everyday, he was awesome. He took the time to get to know us and was always friendly. The entertainment staff is also very good, Jesus was always around to answer any questions and tried to get you involved in the activities. The beach and pool were perfect. We had issues finding seats a couple of days, but that is expected when you are in Cancun. Overall this hotel was everything we expected. The food, alcohol, environment and employees made our vacation very enjoyable. We travel to Cancun every May and plan to stay at the Iberostar again next year.

We had a great time

Pros: The entertainment..They were terrific
Cons: More areas where you can just have some snacks example, dip and chips icecream (especially when the buffet is closed)Cable TV
Location: The location was great, the bus was right outside the hotel and for a buck you can go to the shopping areas with ease.
The hotel lobby was beautiful , the rooms a little dated.The views were amazing from any room. The food in the special restaruants were good , but I didn't like the japanese restaurant (food was horrible) The steak restaurant was great..Make your reservations when you get there for the restaurants, they do book up fast. The buffet was good especially the pasta that was made right in front of you. The fish and pork chops were grilled in front of you too. Breakfast was good if you got the eggs made for you, the pancakes and french toast were cold. They had a lot of things to choose from both for breakfast lunch and dinner. The drinks were kind of watered down. I had better at Dreams hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful . The pools were magnificent, if you have kids the childrens area pool was great. The entertainment they had at night was terrific ..the same group of people who do activities at the pool in the day are the same they do the show at night and I must say they are very talented dancers and singers. The ocean was very rough, you really can't swim in it but the color is amazing. There were enough beach and pool chairs to go around. The TV in your room is limited to what you can watch, and its not a HD TV or cable. The internet was free in your room which was a pleasure but sometimes spotty. It would be nice if you had free calls to the US like they do at Hard Rock but they don't. All and All we had a good time, its all what you make of your vacation.
