Amazing!!!

I travel with my husband for our honeymoon, and even though this hotel it's very family oriented we had a great time! The staff was extremely nice and the food was delicious! It's only 15min away from the airport and the rooms were super clean!! Overall I love it and I can't wait to come back!!!

The staff was lovely. They were so kind and helped with anything we asked for. The hotel rooms air conditioning was a little weak but we also went during the hottest part of the year. It was well worth the money.

Fantastic Week in Cancun at Iberostar

Pros: The service and staff are unbelievable - Really dedicated, hard working folks and no language barriers at all (and I don't speak spanish
Cons: Would like to have access to more themed restaurants
Location: We hoped the bus for a dollar and went into the heart of the hotel zone for two dinners and some shopping (Harry's steak house is fantastic).
Just returned from our week at the Iberostar in Cancun and we had a great time. Arrived early afternoon (its a quick ride from the airport via "super shuttle). Check in was quick and complete with drink and golf cart ride to the rooms. The family (which includes two young adults (college age) stayed in two rooms in the Ocean Front Villas - Perfect view of a beautiful beach. Rooms are nice, clean, not high end but A/C was strong and that was needed cause its hot and humid around the pool and on the beach. Resort is picturesque, well kept, clean and the staff is comprised of hard working people. Pool area is the central attraction right off the beach and its has a large swim up bar - bar tenders keep the drinks flowing - and they are not cheap with dispensing the booze though its not the high end stuff unless you ask for it specifically. Staff always hosting some event through out the day and we participated in several of them (archery, air rifle shooting, beach volley ball, pool aerobics, magic carpet run (fun to watch and attempt). The staff works hard to get you involved but they don't push it. As for food, buffet food is buffet food but it was better than most places we have stayed - andI think its catered towards us Americans. The themed restaurants get booked up fast with the Japanese Hibachi is the best. We went into the hotel zone for dinner via the bus ($1.00 per person) twice - easy to get around and lots of choices.

Great place, beautiful beach and pool. Lots of activities. Night time shows are fun. Food good, bit repetitive but lots of choice every night. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Love the lobby bar! Kids club friendly and safe. Would go back!

Incredible resort and staff at Iberostar Cancun

Pros: Location, staff, facilities, beach area, pools, ocean front villas, theatre, golf course.
Cons: The food was good but not great. Improve the Sports bar because it only has a pool table by adding foosball, air hockey, or slots machines.
Location: The location was great and we took the bus (only $1) to go shopping- it was about a 10 minute ride to a mall.
We just returned from an unbelievable Summer vacation at Iberostar Cancun (July 7-12, 2014) .We stayed in ocean front villas and we had spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. I don't know where to start- the facilities are well-kept and beautiful, the staff is very friendly (a special "shout out" to Jesus who worked at the pools and the theatre-he called me by my nickname every time he saw me!), the nightly shows at the theatre were good entertainment, the outside pool games provided by the staff were fun, the golf course was impeccable, the beach area was spectacular (white sand and colorful Caribbean), and the food was good-especially the Japanese Restaurant, the Gourmet Restaurant, and the Steak House. The only thing we didn't like was when we had to leave the Iberostar to come home.

Pros: Spacious not over crowded and easy to get around through and folks are very pleasant
Cons: The elevator should have AC was disappointing to be swearing on your way down to the lobby. The hotel has a sports bar needs to having dancing club.
Location: Lots to do on the strip of Cancun! Lots of shops, restaurant's, entertainment great for families, young adults and senior citizens.
The food was delicious at all times and fresh. Go to Xcaret, Garafon and Isla Mujeres.

Genrally Nice Hotel

Cons: food quality and taste
Location: there is nothing around within walking distance
Hotel is nice, service is okay, food is below avarage, hard to get reservation in the specialty restaurants, beach or watr has lots of waves, there is nothing around hotel.

Concerning the hotel location, we are situated just between the International Airport and Cancun downtown. We have a wonderful Mayan museum and Mayan ruins close to the hotel. Moreover. A shopping center is at approximately 2 miles from the hotel. Transportation is very affordable. We are sorry that you were not able to enjoy this. Great pool and beach, o.k. room

Pros: Pool, beach, staff
Cons: It is impossible to get coffee early in the morning, except in your room. This doesn't work if you are the only one in your family to get up.
Location: Near the airport which was nice.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. The pool was incredible as was the beach. The staff is top notch and will address any any all concerns that may arise. The rooms are just adequate. They are more like a standard hotel room vs that of your typical resort. You should definitely upgrade to balcony. The food was average to slightly below. I am used to all inclusive buffets and this one missed the mark most of the time. You can always find something to eat, but it is hard to get excited about it. The dinner restaurants were much better. We tried them all and didn't have any complaints. We especially enjoyed the Japanese. The steak restaurant was probably the one we liked the least. If you are a vegetarian, they have a special menu at the restaurants, just ask.
