Staffs are full of liePosted Dec 1, 2013
1. Don't ever take a taxi service from the Hotel (The charge was much higher than local taxi while they were providing the same service;local taxi cost were $30, the hotel charged $35 but the driver charged $37. Also, the driver took out his tips without saying anything.) 2. They cleaned my room only if I asked to clean. 3. When there were only 60-70% of capacity of the hotel (during Thanksgiving week), they never helped me out to change my room. 4. Absolute rude waiters in Lumiere restaurant. They inform different menus to different people. I felt being discriminated while I observed.

Absolutely sensational!Posted Nov 27, 2013
I have been fortunate enough to have experienced staying in many beautiful resorts around the world over the years but 'La Blanc' is without doubt in my top 3. I would put on par with Sandy Lane in Barbados at half the cost. A positively lasting experience! Faultless perfection! Already planning our next trip...

Great experinence with exceptional staff!Posted Nov 19, 2013
The hotel staff made the holiday. The where all excellent and genuinely wanting you to have a great time. Service attentive but not overbearing. Food was of a good standard in all restaurants but was exceptional in the Asian restaurant. The French restaurant prides its self on being the best. However great presentation but it does not hit the mark with tast and ingrdient combinations. I only have one small complaint which relates to the mini bar drinks selection. No gin available unless you pay $130 from your resort credits for a bottle! They would not swop the other sprits for the gin. Too gear up to American taste and not the British traveller.

Picture Postcard come to lifePosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Being right on the beach was priceless! Tri-colored blue water warmer than the pool! The staff who were incredible - wouldn't let you lift a finger!
Cons: Slight language barrier with some staff. Food was occasionally hit or miss.
Location: Location was perfection. Not sure what was nearby - We never wanted to leave the resort!
Pricey but worth it. The view from our room was stunning! The room itself was fantastic and made us feel like royalty. The butler's assigned to us couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The housekeeper's were virtually invisible and kept the room immaculate. Some of the food wasn't always perfect but staff was willing to change or replace anything we didn't like. A few of the dining room staff spoke virtually no English which might be an issue for older folks. We loved the fact that no kids were running around - making noise, jumping in the pool, running in the halls. In fact the halls outside the rooms were so quiet, we often felt like we had the place to ourselves. We live in Santa Barbara, CA - One of the most popular resort towns in the world - This place blew it out of the water! This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever had.

Awful - In desperate need of maintenance!Posted Oct 4, 2013
Cons: Everything - Atmosphere, Staff, Facilities, Food & Room
Location: Close to shops, restaurants, activities and nightlife
Bad Food & Awful service. Chipped / Cracked Tables & Worn Furniture. Found glass in the pool. The exterior needs serious maintenance and re-painting. The rooms are tiny and you arent allowed to open the doors so no fresh air. This is not a 5* hotel, it was but is no more. The majority of the staff are Lazy and don't have a good standard of English, the food is ok but I expect Great and the hotel is in desperate need of maintenance.
