“Best Cancun Hotel We Have Stayed At”

This was by far the best cancun hotel that my wife and I have visited. The service was amazing and the facilities were top notch. Great food too! If you are looking for a place to relax in Cancun, choose this hotel.

“Awesome hotel!”

This hotel is amazing. We stayed in early February 2011 and we had perfect weather. The pools are huge and the bars serve top shelf alcohol at all times. There is only three restaurants, but you should not have trouble finding something that you like. The pools have their own menu, which is mostly american things like club sandwiches, burgers and chicken fingers, which were great. The room service is unbelievable and included. We ordered filet mignon dinners to our room and huge breakfasts. You will definitely enjoy this hotel. One wierd thing about the hotel is they bring you bills everytime you order drinks or food. Apparently this is to show you the value you are getting for your all inclusive stay, but it makes you nervous sometimes - wondering whether what you ordered was included or not. To simplify, I would recommend not tipping on the bills/checks and just using cash at all times. This way, you want have to do the conversion math for your tips and won't have to settle up at checkout. Book your trip to the Live Aqua and enjoy! We can't wait to go back next year.

“Perfect weekend”

The hotel couldn't have been better, although the eucalyptus scent was sometimes overpowering. The pools and beaches are excellent. The food was superb (especially enjoyed Siete at night). Room service was far above standard. Service was fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back! One minor negative: The bar drinks were a little weak even when requesting a double or top-off. so, we just drank more.

“Beautiful hotel!”

Great place to stay! The entire hotel has a spa-like feel. Excellent service, great location, very clean and well maintained. The food wasjust ok.... but that didn'd take away from the quality of the hotel. The only issues were with the organization of the front desk staff. I booked 1 King bed with expedia. During check in, I was told that they did not receive that request and that I'd have to pay an additional $30 per night if I wanted the King bed. I refused to pay the additional money and accepted a room with 2 double queen beds. About 2 hours later we were told that we could move to a room with a King bed for no additional charge. By then we had already unpacked and were on our way to the beach. We didnt want to deal with the hassle of re-packing and moving, so we stayed in the double. Expedia also provided resort credits when I booked, which were confirmed when I checked-in. However, when checking out, the credits had not been applied, and I was informed that I had a balance of $196. I strongly disputed the charge and the issue was resolved (charges removed) before I left the hotel. Gorgeous place, but keep copy of your expedia itinerary with any promotions/special request, and review receipts when checking out of the hotel.

“Perfect Trip and Spectacular value”

This hotel was phenomenal! We enjoyed the filets and tiamusu at any hour, the drinks, and the poolside service. We took our 8 month old baby and since it was during the hotel's kids allowed time, had a great stay! Take Hrtz shuttle from airport and buy the return trip. Buy your Chica Itchza trip through Hertz I paid $50 pp versus from the concierge desk where they will try to give you a time share incentive. SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD, AWESOME TRIP! The management is hands on and visible to make sure your stay is perfect! THE HOTEL SHOULD HIRE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER AS THE WEBSITE PICTURES DO IT NO JUSTICE!

“Pleased”

I visited Live Aqua for my honeymoon. We had an awesome time and were treated very well. The staff was very helpful and were always asking if we needed more drinks or any food. The restaurant selection is good but it is also very helpful that we were able to get room service 24/7. Hotel is very clean and in a good location. We couldn't have asked for anything better and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Best All Inclusive Resort Ever!”

I've stayed at many all inclusives (Cancun, Dominican Republic, etc.) and this was by far the best. Not only was it the best all-inclusive, it was also one of the best resorts I've been to. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Great for couples.

“Simply Amazing, Relaxing and Perfection”

Upon entering the hotel, I lost all stress that was brought with me. The aroma of the hotel was simply relaxing. The ambiance is total relaxation and if you are looking for this, then Live Aqua is for you. The staff are all excellent! They are friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. Our room was wonderful with a King bed and a few of the ocean that took our breath away. The dining is superb. Siete has the breakfast buffet; including omelet station, pancakes, french toast and excellent service. Lunch can be ordered by the pool or at the Azur restaurant (which can be eaten by the pool area). Their menu is just enough to fill you up but not be overstuffed. For dinner any of the restaurants are excellent. The Siete has the most delicious filet mignon with chipolte sauce-highly recommend. The MB has a more upscale dinner menu; excellent. The Azur has a great menu and if you order one of all of the menu options you will be stuffed! The food is excellent! The drinks are always fresh and cold. Loved all the waiters. The spa is wonderful and we took part in two days of massages. Don't recommend the pedicure at the beauty shop; too expensive. Also the housekeeping was hit and miss but nothing to stop us from coming again. The 7 pools were beautiful and the beach is excellent! Shopping right across the street and a short cab ride down to the hustle and bustle of the Hotel Zone shops. Ideal place for anyone and we will definitely come back to this location again!

“spring break stay”

We had a family trip in spring break and we all really like this hotel. We love the view from our room. The hotel is very clean and services are pretty good. We'll stay here again for our next visit.
