Wonderful stay with one exceptionPosted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: We enjoyed the serene atmosphere, and the staff's attitude the most. There was never anything they would not do to make our stay more enjoyable.
Cons: They should put some type of thresh hold under the doors to help make the rooms a bit quieter. It would also be nice to have a bit of entertainment
My wife and I traveled to Live Aqua to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and enjoyed our time there tremendously with one minor exception. On our last night someone in maintenance thought it would be a good idea to do some construction at 2:30 AM right outside of our room. We waited about 10 minutes thinking maybe they would stop. We made a call to the front desk and they were able to get them to stop rather quickly. The rest of our stay was fabulous. The pools and beach are beautiful and clean, the wait staff are very friendly and always ready with a drink. The facilities are beautiful and kept in pristine condition since the staff is constantly cleaning. We had a chance to eat at all of the restaurants and enjoyed them all. I have an allergy to seafood and my wife has a sensitivity to gluten and every chef was able to accommodate us. The Chef at Varenna went out her way to make a special dish for my wife and serve it personally. Our room staff was excellent. Our room was always made up and cleaned quickly and the turn down service was outstanding. They even decorated our room a couple of nights to help us celebrate our anniversary.

Wonderful hotelPosted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: staff, near beach, beautiful, close to buses for shopping
Cons: water pressure in showers
Location: bus stops everywhere on hotel zone, shopping all across street
Staff was very helpful and eager to please. Pools very nice, bar and food accessible and several spots. A variety of food, ate at the buffet most days, did use room service on several occasions.

February Live AquaPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Food quality and facility.
Cons: It's a little pricey and the liquor drinks are just "ok." They need to spend a little extra on getting better soda water to mix with drinks.
Location: Never left the hotel.
The place was very beautiful. The food was very good, which is always a huge concern at an all inclusive. The beach is awesome and pools are nice too. Tipping did not seem to result in better service.

Amazing All-InclusivePosted Mar 2, 2014
Cons: The only negative I found in my stay was the time share presentation at check-in. A hotel of this caliber should not do this to their guests.
This hotel has everything you are looking for in a relaxing vacation. The grounds have breathtaking views of the ocean from every pool, the beach and ocean looks exactly like the old Corona commercial, the food is amazing in taste and presentation, the staff sincerely cares about making their guests happy and comfortable. I am not sure you could ask for anything more.

The best honeymoon experience!!Posted Mar 2, 2014
This hotel was probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in for so many reasons! The location was great, but really it was the hotel and the staff that made every minute there perfect. From the moment we arrived, the perfect experience began. They gave us delicious tea as we checked in and then offered us hand massages as they told us all about the facility and restaurants and all the things we could do there. The hotel smells were incredible too. Every bit of the building smelled so good and relaxing. The music was super relaxing on its own. I can't express my love for this hotel enough - the food in every restaurant was perfect and so delicious, the staff was so kind and accommodating, the facilities were perfect and clean and beautiful, the room was fantastic and picturesque and amazingly comfortable in every way, and on and on! It was perfect.

Lovely stay in CancunPosted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: pools, drinks, breakfast buffet.
I really enjoyed our stay at Live Aqua. The facilities were wonderful. We got an Aqua Suite for 7 nights over the new years holiday. Neither my girlfriend or I had been to an All-Inclusive resort before. We both liked it. I wouldn't say it was the best value, but I had a very good year and could afford it.

Hotel Resort very attentive to your needsPosted Mar 1, 2014
Cons: beach and pool chairs were plastic. other hotels I have been to have heavy very supportive wood chairs with thick bed like pads. wished for one.
Location: malls and shops just across the street. appears lots to do on the street. very clean with lots of pedestrians.
Beautiful property. Lots of Iguanas very cool. Three macaws' that put on an 11 am flying show daily. Lots of food options. Takes more than a few days just to find all the food places. We stayed 10 days and couldn't even dent the menu items available. While it looks very chrome and neo modern the outdoor restaurant's are very secluded in earthy treed gardens. Not a lot of guest pressure feb 18 to 3/1 2014 dates of our stay. I assume they were full but property is large enough your never crowed or waiting in lines for anything. Pool side is large sprawling area with lots of hot sun and shade options. Seven different pools all spread on angles and curves so that you can only see a couple from your chair.

Pros: The location, the setup, the pools and beach. The food was very good but there is room for improvement such as a better variety;
Cons: The variety of the mood. Most restos did not vary their menus while I was there

Nice hotel beach great, food and drinks displeasinPosted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Location great...beach great ..hotel grounds
Cons: Need to have more choices for wine lovers Drink lists Fix the elevators
Location: Very close to shopping and nice to take a walk on the street to look at other hotels
The hotel grounds were nice and rooms comfortable. We were greeted at the desk with ice tea and a cold towel nice then we were asked if we would like to upgrade to the Aqua Club for an extra fee..so we did good thing...if not our room would not have been ready...not so sure I believe that. We navigated our way around the resort but a map of the layout would have been nice . Once we found a place to eat it was closing in 15 mins so off we went to try and find the next location that opened in 15 min. Restaurants were easy to get into but food was cold and mediocre. Beach was great, poolside a little crowded and saving chairs is a common practice so get up early for a good spot! Alcohol limited poolside so we suggest forgo the fancy drinks and go straight to get your money's worth... Oh and make friends with a poolside waiter to ensure he remembers to check on your refills. If you like a good wine don't expect to find any at this hotel. Vacation was relaxing and we had it all figured out just when it was time to leave.
