Guests of this resort may use those facilities for a daily surcharge. Terraced above the resort's 200 meters (219 yards) of beach are a 43-meter (47-yard) family pool and a 6-by-4.5-meter (20-by-15-ft) children's pool. Sundecks surround the pools, and thatched-roof palapas offer shade on the beach. Newly added (July 2006) garden areas are found throughout the property.

An independent water sports center, AquaWorld, rents boogie boards, arranges parasailing flights, and offers scuba-diving classes. AquaWorld's main center is a marina located 1.5 km (1 mi) away on Nichupté Lagoon, where many water sports are available, including kayaking, sailing, and windsurfing. AquaWorld also books fishing trips and scuba diving and snorkeling excursions.
