I appreciated the staff. They were attentive, gracious, welcoming, friendly, honest...... I was impressed with the quality of food and drink. Over-all not a bad moment during the 9 days there. I will definitely be back.

Limited all inclusive. First all inclusive I've been to with limitations on food and alcohol. For this reason i would not recommend or return. I will say the staff was excellent

Loved the water and snorkeling. We had two stingrays in the water below the villas. A moraine eel that I don’t need to see again. Amazing colours of water, tons of fish. Loved the villas and the location of the villas. Loved the food. The buffet was great. The restaurant is amazing. Did not expect that. The shrimp bar on the beach is great!! Staff goes above and beyond. We fell in love with the place because of the water/beach and the staff. We were shocked how busy the area can be. Up to 70 boats visit the bay on a busy day. Mind you they wade through the water to the north end beach and not Mia Reef beach, waters and grounds. We are from a small prairie town and do not care for masses of people. Having said that, it did not interfere with enjoying the vacation. Tourist area/street in North end was fun to walk through in the evenings. Tons of little stores, restaurants, bars out on the street. Snorkeling at Garrafon Beach Hotel worth it. With more coral than at Mia. Again lots of fish. Do not like the push for presentation on time share upon arrival. We firmly had to decline to engage in conversations on time share.

This hotel is built on an amazing beach location, pretty much on top of a reef, you’ll love the white sand and the beach is pristine, goes forever shallow. The staff is also amazing, they will treat you like a king. Come here for nature and service, unfortunately the property lacks maintenance, so don’t expect high end or luxury. Food is abundant and good. Stay away from vacation plan sales, they still try to bully you into buying something, I had a terrible experience as they won’t listen to you when you say no and will harass you into buying some useless vacation plan

The location is amazing and every room has an ocean view. The hotel was clean and the staff were great. The food is good. Great for families as lots of options available. The rooms are dated and getting run down. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in a deluxe ocean view room. We ended up with a king bed and a single, despite requesting 2 queen beds and booking through Expedia that listed 2 queen beds. Essentially getting 2 queen beds depends on availabilty when you check in.

The big win for Mia is the private beach/lagoon. I’ve never seen water so blue. It was so gorgeous. The property needs some serious work. Broken chairs/tables/umbrellas. Seems like they haven’t been great about upkeep. Food is a joke. We went off site for almost every meal because either the Buffett options were terrible or the few restaurants on the property “were full”. The one breakfast and one lunch we had at Mia were the worst meals we had all trip. Upside is there are several great spots in golf cart distance. But that’s frustrating when you are paying for an “all inclusive”. We will be back to Isla but most likely not to Mia. Money is better spent elsewhere.

This hotel is beautiful, the stay was amazing and relaxing. Everyone is so nice ,from the food to the drinks are delicious. Theyake everything ao easy. The beach access is easy and very kid friendly. Kings pool is amazing!!!! Will definitely visit here again!

Pros: Wonderful staff and amazing location that you can’t beat on the island. Food was decent. Cons: Check-in, didn’t get room based on description of what was booked, clean on the surface but really needs an upgrade- don’t look too close.

Area surrounding the property is beautiful. A good location for large families. Plenty to see and do around the resort with cool shows. Food was just okay. Small families do not need to buy all inclusive.

Loved the property! Best beach in Mexico hands down. Rooms are very small and bathrooms are TINY! Staff was excellent and food was good for an all inclusive. Overall experience was great. We will return!

Mia is an average all inclusive resort. Food options are extremely limited and lacking in quality. For the price paid I would honestly expect much more. The rooms are old and outdated and could use some serious maintenance. The property is small and was crowded when we were there with many families. The beach is nice, but small and covered seating is always full with nobody to be seen only beach towels taking up the precious shaded areas. You get what you pay for, well in this case you actually don’t.

Beautiful beach!! Food was average Italian restaurant was not available for reservations. They need to add seating and at least allow each quest a night I tried to get a reservation for the entire time of stay and was unsuccessful.

They gave us the wrong room and would not fix it. I booked 2 full beds and got a queen and a cot. There was no hot water throughout our stay. Food on the buffet was garbage. Food at the one and only restaurant was not much better. The cook making omelets to order would not serve me because I moved to the wrong side to make room for other patrons. Then she served me raw eggs the rest of the days and gave me dirty looks. The only good thing about this place is the beach. We rented a golf cart for the duration of our stay and ate off property. I would not return. There are other hotels across from it that share the beach.

The waters are absolutely gorgeous. The best beaches on the island. The reef and swimming hole around the reef is gorgeous. There is no place like this on the entire island. The staff at check in were fabulous and try very hard to make you stay great. The property however is very dated. If you’re looking for a newer resort, this is not. But it’s again THE BEST beach on the island. The room is ok. There is a buffet that you can eat 3 meals a day and there’s a restaurant with very limited seating. You can not eat there your first night. So plan on the buffet. You have to stand in line for the restaurant between 3pm-5pm each day to get a reservation for the next day. You better be there at 3pm because by 4pm there are no reservations. The 1 à la la cart restaurant switches between Mexican and Italian food. The Mexican food was our favorite. The resort tries hard to make the evenings fun with karaoke and a little dance show. This is not a 5 star resort but it’s on the most beautiful, flat calm, crystal clear waters. The best in all of Mexico in my opinion.

For first time so disappointed room dirty, everything is not included, the only 2 restaurants they have you make reservation's with the following days, only buffet no reservations

Hotel conditions were a little run down, toilet leaked water also badly repaired walls. Food was okay it wasn’t bad but very little options with 1 buffet and 2 restaurants on the property it was extremely repetitive and no room service. I wouldn’t stay here again but the island was awesome.

I liked the walkable distance to town, the cleanliness and friendly staff. I didn't like the noise level at night with lots of slamming doors. The size of the resort was a little too small for my taste. Not very many options as far as restaurants or entertainment throughout the day and evening.

The resort is absolutely spectacular! Rich went over the top to make everything perfect for us! When we showed up my girlfriend stressed out from the flight and was ready to leave upon arrival. He did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable! With staff members like Israel and Barbie, the trip was perfect! They took care of us every chance they could! Luckily my girlfriend decided to stay because she is now my fiance! Much love to the island of Isla! I don't care what anyone says. The buffet was excellent every day for all the meals!

Positive: Gorgeous view! Food was very good but a bit redundant. Good air conditioning Nice staff Negatives: Only tepid showers. Internet, spotty at best. Overall good stay, we’ve been there before and will go again.
