“Very enjoyable!”
The hotel and service was excellent. There were more than ample staff at every aspect of the facility including restaurants, spa and resort to cater to every little request. Very clean facility and even when the toilet got clogged it was fixed within 5 minutes. The only negative would be after you get checked in by the front desk you are escorted to an area where you think you are about to schedule excursions for the credits you get to use while at the resort. (These people are actually at the next set of tables.) The first people are actually wanting to schedule you to sit through a 90 minute to 3 hour visit trying to get you to buy a very expensive timeshare with them. In exchange for sitting through their presentation they will give you some extra points to spend while there and if you decline their presentation they are relentless trying to get you to listen to it. Politely saying no does not work, you just have to be stern and say quit harrasing me and let me enjoy my vacation. After that all is fine. I would recommend scheduling excursions to use your points first thing as spa slots fill up fast. If you golf you can schedule that before you arrive. Swimming with the dolphins was a blast and a must do for anyone!
“The Best golf experience”
The Golf courses were extremely impressive and and definitely recommend playing all the moon palace courses, Playacar and Riviera Cancun. My greatest golf experience by far. All inclusive food was another added satifaction.
“Simply Excellent”
Excellent
“Excellent experience again!”
We love staying at the Palace Resorts. The staff is fantastic, the hotel is beautiful, and the amenities are excellent. With all of the concerns over traveling to Mexico, we always felt safe and secure at the Moon Palace. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation!
“Great Resort!”
The Resort is exceptional, Food was great, incredible beach and pool areas. Only bad part of the trip was not the hotel, it was the airline, AeroMexico. Check for other options.
“Better than cruise ship, Certainly I will go agin”
Very nice all-inclusive hotel, good food, you can grab food or drink almost everywhere. Rooms may be far from the lobby or restaurant, and it takes time to walk from one place to the other. Very relaxing to stay by the poolside with a drink.
“Better than I remembered it-Cancun's BEST resort!”
I stayed at this same resort 10 years ago, and the property has only gotten better in the interim. When they say "All-Inclusive" for this resort, they mean it. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant and seamless as possible. It may seem slightly pricey, but for everything you are able to do at the resort, and the beauty of the location, I almost feel like I need to give them a little bit more money. Almost. After viewing the utterly over-crowded and highly commercialized "Hotel Zone" in Cancun, staying in the Moon Palace Resort is the best place to be for a truly relaxing and invigorating experience. With the gorgeous landscape and the incredible diversity of wildlife found on the resort property, you feel like you are part of the environment, not an ugly eyesore created to pack in the dollars. Although the majority of the staff are not fluent in English, they do understand what you are trying to say and are incredibly friendly whether it's at 2am, after the resorts nightclub closes, or 6pm, right at the dinner rush. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and do all they can to make you happy. For those who are part of the GLBTQ community, (like myself and my husband are) you have absolutely nothing to worry about as far as their attitudes towards you. My husband and I both had an incredible experience and we both hope to return to the facility in the coming years.
“Going back soon”
This place was great! You get everything and more than what you pay for! The staff was extremely attentive and we will return here soon!
“Great Vacation”
This was our 4th time to this resort and would go back for a 5th. We love the open seating at the restaurants, the top shelf liquor and the service. We did have some what of an issue when it came to our room. When we booked the resort we asked for the Sunrise section, we received were in the Nizuk section. They didn't want to change our reservation even though the resort was only 18% full. I was continually told tomorrow. I finally found someone who was willing to help, and we were put into the Sunrise section and a great room. Don't give up asking for what you want. To make this resort almost perfect, they need to do something about the beach. The sand is nice, activities on the beach are good, however all the sea weed makes the water un-swimmable. If you want to swim in the ocean, you need to take the shuttle to either Beach Palace or Cancun Palace and swim there. The issue with this is you must be on their time table unless you pay for a cab. In short, I would recommend this resort.
“best place in Cancun”
Wonderful food, wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere and the staff treat you like royalty. After my third trip to Cancun and first trip to this resort, ill never stay anywhere else.
