“Excellent Service!!!!”

My boyfriend and I went to the Moon Palace for 6 days. We just wanted to get away and this was awesome!! The service was excellent ( whenever you said "thank you" the response was "It's my pleasure") One thing we discovered was that there are 2 lobbies the Nizu and the Sunrise. We stayed at the Sunrise but went over to the Nizu and definitely preferred the Sunrise. The Nizu did not have the service we were used to (we went to lunch buffet and every time we got up to get more food our table was cleared off?) and the kid's club is located there so definitely a lot more kids and noise. Communication was not a problem and if you don't understand ask more questions. There is a row of concierge's and they assist with everything from tour trips to shuttle services to planning events etc... The best advice is bring lots of one dollar bills. This is an all inclusive so any tips are appreciated. Everyone is so helpful that yoou want to tip anyways. Room service was great and anytime you requested anything they would call your room and make sure everything was ok. We did go to town to go shopping and would probably not do it again because the gift shop had good prices and the same items they had in town. If you want to go and haggle because everything is overpriced take the trip to town, the mall does have designer stores so if you don't usually have that it might be worth the trip.

“Could not have been better! Will go back!”

We went for a family (2 Adults-2kids) 5 days vacation. We planned at the last minute and based our choice on Expedia reviews. I was not disappointed. The Hotel is fantastic, Staff is very professional and courteous, rooms are gorgeous, restaurants serve excellent food, etc. If you go with kids, I would recommend to stay at the Nizuc section of the Hotel has it is smaller, less crowded and all rooms are facing the Ocean. Moreover, kids club is on the premises. Our little one asked to go back everyday. The All inclusive includes also a set of tours (Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba, snorkeling on the Reef, Isla Mujeres, etc...!!! We went to Chichen Itza - food not great there - but enjoyed the tour and site... Enjoy as well the water sports pier where you ca, at will, use sailing boats, windsurf, sea kayak... Overall a FANTASTIC trip, too short - plan at least 7 days if you go -. Will go back!

“We will go back for sure”

We will definitely stay at Moon Palace again. We were in one of the new rooms and it was absolutely wonderful. Very spacious, spotless, and very comfortable beds and pillows, which you rarely get in Mexico. The staff was wonderful and friendly every step of the way. For an all-inclusive, the food was good (not spectacular, but if you want spectacular food, don't buy an all-inclusive), and there were a lot of activities that ended up being free with the package (ferry to the island, etc). This place is HUGE and getting bigger. It's over a mile from end to end on the beach; if you are the lazy type, get a room close to the lobby, or you will walk A LOT. Note: If you are going to Cancun because of the blue water, it's more green in this area. Still pretty, but not that deep aqua-marine you get in central Cancun. The trade-off is the beach is bigger. The beaches along the main strip of hotels are really shallow since the hurricane, while at Moon Palace for some reason they are still big. I have heard the price of all-inclusive Vs. not is pretty close, but if you like a few cocktails and don't like getting those shocking dinner tabs (Cancun isn't cheap, even by US standards), my guess is this a better way to go. You also know going in what your vacation really cost. We didn't have one dime of extra charges when we checked out...not one. The only additional money we spent was on stuff we purchased.

“The Best All-Inclusive ever stayed at”

The food was great quality. Something for everyone. Accomodations were clean and awesome. Activities such as wind surfing, kayaking were readily available. The only negative was the beach. Lots of kelp but the workers worked very hard to keep up with it. Beaches were much nicer on Hotel Zone. We loved the atmosphere at our resort compared to the Hotel Zones even though the beaches were nicer there.

“Can't wait to go back, great for families.”

This resort was huge. Our daughter had so much fun at kids pool. She also liked the kids club the one time she went. There are many activites for families. Food was great! You must eat at the Brazilian restaurant.

“Very pleased with Moon Palace complex”

The rooms, pools and overall complex were extremely clean, well kept and very impressive. The members of my trip (2 adults, one child) were very pleased with the restuarants, pool side atmosphere and overall activities and options. Our stay was excellent and we would return. One note - while the beach front access is nice and complete with chairs and umbrellas, the one lacking element of this location was the inviting ocean - very calm waters - no surf - and not to inviting for swimming - you would have to see this for yourself to understand - still - we would go back! Hope this helps!

“The Only resort i have been to in all of Mexico and was not bothered or haggled by the locals!!!”

A beautiful hotel with a extremely friendly and helpful staff. Everyone in the hotel literally stopped doing what they where doing to say hi or help you. The hotel is about a 15 minute cab ride from civilization;that was the ONLY draw back.Though the hotel offers everything,i still wanted to explore the rest of Cancun, for a $18 USD taxi ride each way you where there.Well worth it to not be botherd or pestered like i usually am when i go to Mexico. As for haglers on the beach or trying to sell you timeshares. We had absolutely NONE or saw none, even the beach was maintained by resort faculty and we where not bothered by haglers there either.
