“Oasis”
Staff is friendly and just want you to have a good time. Expensive, but if you have the money and enjoy, it's a great time!
“Noise control good”
The walls are made of concrete pour so it helps with noise reduction. Visited my friend's hotel at ME cancun and people were already hitting the wall to tell us to keep the noise down. Oasis Cancun is not bad and you can get decent rest considering it is a party hotel (of course I was also at the end of hotel so that helped as well)
“Awesome destination for spring break or any time”
It was a pretty wild atmosphere, but if that were a surprise to anyone in mid-March at the Oasis, he or she would have done absolutely no research concerning their destination. Anyway, we had a blast. I am a few years out of school but still young enough to pull it off. And there were a surprising diverse array of age groups and nationalities represented on the property. There are two very important things to keep in mind, though, when booking the Oasis in March. 1) unless you plan to do plenty of drinking like everyone else, you are going to have a hard time getting to sleep with the noise late into the night. This was not a problem for us, but it may be for some. Probably not a great idea to go with young kids unless you can assure a room in the main building of the Grand Oasis. 2) I had previously been to the Grand Oasis, which is basically the same property. Both times I had a room in the same building. As far as I can tell, the main difference is the color of your wrist band and what that gives you access to. But trust me, there is a huge difference between the restaurant experience depending on this. There is plenty of alcohol everywhere so the bar situation is not that big of a deal based on your wrist band. But the dining options/experience depends quite a bit on whether you stay at the Oasis or the Grand Oasis. Oh, and if you want to get to the front of the line at any crowded bar, it's as easy as bringing $100 in ones with you on your trip. Y
“Spring break”
We had an all inclusive in our booking so we had the buffet food that was included and it was OK, sometimes hit & miss though. As a young person going on spring break it was awesome! Massive pools, everyone comes to this hotel to party! always good acts playing and lots of young people from around the globe! downside you have to buy wi-fi. RECOMEND this HOTEL FOR SPRING BREAK FOR SURE!
“First anniversary vacation”
We truly enjoyed out time here. Our only complaint was the temperature of the breakfast buffet food. Otherwise, we loved it all! The staff went above and beyond and were very accommodating.
“First time was better”
We came to this hotel 2 yrs ago and love it! This time not as much. The bracelet color and access was not explain properly. You have to have a black and gold bracelet to completly enjoy all of the Hotel. The staff was great and very friendly, but the front desk was not helpful at all.
“Good for the price”
Service was excellent. The fact that we couldn't drink at all the bars or get a simple cocktail or even a bottled water was frustrating. I would recommend the hotel but be aware that certain wrist bands are allowed at certain bars at the hotel. The lack of entertainment was a disappointment. They had a band that played every other night for couple of hours but limited area to sit. The beach was very nice and the pool area was clean.
“misrepresented the all inclusive”
I have been to many all inclusive resorts. This is the first time I have ever seen restrictions. There were some bars & restaurants we could not use(the one closest to the beach) and there was no premium alcohol. None of these were mentioned on hotel website or time of booking. Also we never saw a single show as mentioned on their website.
“Decent place”
The hotel was nice. My husband and I went for our honeymoon, and as soon as we arrived there we were upgraded to a ocean front room. The service was excellent, but the bars throughout the premiss would close at different hours forcing us to go to a different location to get a drink (not difficult just annoying). We especially enjoyed the 3 open buffets and seating was very quick. Drinks were outstanding, and the bellhops at the front door made it easy to go anywhere. Great hotel, great price, great service!
“Need a few improvements!!”
Had a GREAT time but a few things need to be addressed.. Some of the grounds needed some repair (Ex: uneven cement and missing tiles)..Food had a lot to be desired, couldn't stay a week and survive in food, not much of a variety. Locks on hotel doors very cheap..no deadbolts (didn't feel secure at all)???
