Ok for the value

Pros: The view. Definitely wasn't crowded
Cons: Wait staff in the restaurants. Staff needs to be doubled and more attentive to needs of the patrons.
This hotel was ok for the value, and the view from the room was great! If you just tell the time share people NO at the beginning, they will leave you alone, but you have to be emphatic. Food was good, but service in the food area needs to be greatly improved. We went many meals with no drinks, and the wait staff barely spoke English. We would stay again, knowing what to expect and only if there was not another inexpensive option.

Pros: L'accueil, le cadre de l'hôtel, les activités (spa, jet-ski, catamaran, kayak, aqua gym, yoga, volley, tennis, etc.) et excursions.
Cons: Nourriture et rapidité des serveurs dans les restaurants.
Location: Quartier des hôtels de Cancun. Pas gros chose à voir à proximité.
Généralement, l'hôtel était très bien. Le service était bon, le cadre génial et il y a beaucoup d'activités. Le seul hic aura été les restaurants. La nourriture est déjà préparée à l'avance notamment dans les 3 restaurants de l'hôtel (Italiano, Oriental, Mexicano) et des fois encore gelée dans l'assiette... Pour ne pas être déçu et ne pas payer plein pot les plats des restaurants, prendre le séjour en ALL INCLUSIVE. De plus, certaines journées, le restaurant buffet est assez triste avec peu de choix.

We booked a trip here for 6 nights and 5 days... 4 persons two rooms. Separate reservations, from the moment you walk into the hotel you are greeted by concierge (that will try to sell you a timeshare package ) DONT DO IT! Especially if you booked this trip as an all inclusive. We came to check in and of course the worst thing that could happen, happened. Our reservation was missing. Gone. We weren't in the system... I cannot describe how upset I was, working for a hotel ... I kind of gave them a small break until of course they started saying that it's our fault that our rooms aren't there... When we are showing them our itineraries they just couldn't figure out what was wrong. So HERE COMES the hotel manager to make peace after the front desk staff wasn't propoerly trained enough to do their job, we got a room.. ( but we still were not in the system) they lost our reservation) this hotel needs so much help with they way they trea THE BEACH- there is no beach, the sand area and the bar is beautiful so are the palm trees around it. But there is absoiltey no crystal clear water ... Seaweed- seaweed and more seaweed. THE POOL- very clean, close to the bar, very small. THE FOOD- the buffet needs help but definitely having theeee resturants on site was nice ... Pizza place was probably my favorite .. The mexican, italian, and Asian were defiantly a nice choice if your staying all inclusive. THE STAFF- I coldnt be more happier with all of the staff everyone was so nice!

No tiene buena playa, albercas en buen estado

Pros: La limpieza de sus áreas verdes y sus albercas limpias
Cons: bufete y las pizzas, le falta sabor y prepararlas mejor, no hay meseros en el área de playa que ofrezcan alguna bebida, les falta comida de snack
Location: Es un hotel sin playa agradable, no me gusto, no me volvería a hospedar en este Hotel, buscare mejores alternativa
*La recepción mala, no estaba registrada la reservación, mal carácter de la recepcionista, nos tardo una hora en avisar que teníamos la reservación. Le preguntamos por un vale rosa que nos dijeron del SPA para una cortesía, la Recepcionista nos contesto medio enojada, que ello solo recibía a los huéspedes, que ella no sabia nada de eso, todo sin preguntar a nadie. * El día 02 de enero la habitación le hicieron limpieza hasta las 6 pm. *Muy estrictos en la vigilancia, no dejaban pasar a unos visitantes nuestros que incluso tenían brazalete del hotel Aquamarina, situación muy incomoda, no me gusto sus actitud, es la primera ves que nos pasa. solo queríamos hacer un intercambio de regalos. *El bufete del restaurant caracol deja mucho que desear, poca variedad, no tiene buen sabor, la atención del mesero Marcos es estupenda, super agradable y muy atento. *La famosa noche de gala en el restaurante italiano con Langosta, pésima, muy raquítica, y fría, no tenían ni un cafe, eso si muy estrictos con su vale, pero la comida no valió la pena. *Incluso no comimos 2 días en sus restaurantes, buscamos una alternativa mejor en otros restaurantes.

Found cockroaches in room, at the buffet resturant cook and staff were excellent. Staff salesman were obnoxious and more concerned about where you were going after leaving the hotel, instead of being accomadating. Last trip to ever stay at ocean spa hotel.

El Hotel y todo muy bien, buena relacion calidad/precio. Quizás el hotel a mejorar la comida que casi siempre era la misma variedas. El problema lo tube con mi reserva que una vez pagada y descontada de mi tarjeta, hoteles.com a 12h de mi llegada al botel,la cancelo diciendo problemas con el pago (estando ya pagado). Tube que volver a hacer reserva nueva y volver a pagar sin que me decolvieran antes el importe anterior ya pagado. Soy viajero muy frecuente por trabajo y nunca me habia pasado esto. Dudo volver a utilizar los servicios de es.hoteles.com .

Not what we expected

The wait staff, maintenance staff, bell hop and pool waiters were all fantastic. Miguel, Irene, Pascual, Thomas, Emmanuel, Erik, Elisa, Alexis, Ignacio and chef Brígido were so good, that our stay was comfortable because of their pleasant ways and ability to accommodate all our needs and requests. The food was pretty good. The fresh fruit juices were superb. The menu was healthy. The hotel is near public transportation and you could easily travel to the mercado 28 and the center of the hotel área where all the hustle was happening at night. We expected to have a nice, clean beach. The beach area was so small I can't consider that a beach. It was dirty and you could smell the fuel from the boats and the motorized water scooters. The pool is outdated with ladders and difficult to get in and out. The hotel lobby lacked air conditioning. We were told not to make noise in the public areas of the hotel. There was no ventilation in the bathrooms in the rooms. The concierge staff did not offer information regarding all the amenities available to the guests. Information regarding the restaurants was misleading. There is only one buffet with a seating area. Three other separate "restaurants". The Mexican "restaurant" was very hot and almost unbearable to enjoy your meal. Suggestions: provide boat transport to sunset royal to all the guests and not charge at the sunset royal for the food for all the guests from ocean spa. Update the swimming pool. Put umbrellas around the pool area

The Hotel is ok, however the staff all the time request a tip, my point is the hotel should charge us the tip and we feel more comfortable if the price include that.
