“Great room and great service overall”

The employees are very friendly and helpful. The buffet was excellent. Make reservations at the included restaurants a few days in advance in case you want a little variety. If you want the best food service, go during the crowded lunch and dinner times. When the managers are gone, the service drops dramatically. Also I noticed better service before Christmas, than after. I can't determine why, but am guessing that less tips were coming in. The Christmas buffet was great, but could have been better organized. Lines were much longer than they had to be. The bar service and spa were excellent. The pools were relaxing, and the grounds were kept in excellent condition. Make sure you take advantage of the water and other activities. The nightly shows were decent, and the house band was great. The maid service was good. Just had to get some extra hair conditioner since they forgot it a couple of days. Overall, a great place for couples.

“Can't wait to go back”

I love this hotel, the pool look over the ocean is beatiful. The Beach has no waves, I saw a lot of fishes, not a lot of rock. All the restaurants are great, my least favorite is Brazilian restaurant, try to make reservation early morning otherwise it will be full. Every night they have entertainment at the theater with great shows (dancing and singing). Very good service. They treat you very speacial. I am definitely will bring my kids next year!!!!!

“Fantastic Vacation”

My husband and I just returned from a 5 day stay at the Riu. Our vacation was perfect! Hotel and facilities were beautiful, food was delicious, staff was friendly and accomodating. We will definitely return to the Riu! Best vacation ever! Thank You!!!!

“Best yet!”

“Great Hotel”

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but that is the only thing that I can complain about. Most of the restaurants were very good! Make sure to make reservations as soon as you get there though. THey fill up fast. I can't wait to go back!

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”

Beautiful Hotel. Just wish they could get rid of the mildew smell in the Lobby. The service was spectacular. The specialty restaurants were great especially the Krystal Gourmet. The Italian restaurant is better for lunch than the buffet. I would definately go again. All of the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly.
