Fabulous food, staff and cleanliness

Posted Feb 28, 2015
Was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Greeted with champagne and friendly hostess that helped us to quickly check-in and showed us around. All of the restaurants offered delicious options. So accommodating to any request. Cleanliness was impeccable. Would highly recommend this hotel. Pools, entertainment staff and events were very well done.

One of the best vacations by far!

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: pretty new, adults only, all inclusive, good food, variety of differfood, amazing view, 3 different pools 1hot tub & a preferred pool, good service
Location: it was walking distance from the Luxury Mall and la Isla Shopping Village, walking distance from Playa Delfines (cancun sign) AMAZING location
Highly recommended! It may seem a bit pricey but it's worth it! I was recommended by a few friends about this hotel & i would for sure recommend to any of my friends or family looking to stay in Cancun. A lot of drink selections and food.

This is a great experience to stay. But it is full of western culture stuff. Anyway, it is comfortable and neat in Preferred area.

Best experience at a Cancun resort so far

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Beach is perfect. Gym is far above average for a resort/hotel. Restaurants are best yet I've been to in a resort. Bars and cafes are on point. Service and atmosphere is excellent per usual with AM Resorts. Nothing else to ask for. Entertainment Team rocks! Water flow in shower and faucets dropped to zero one of the days right after peak beach hours. Mildly irritating, but it was all sorted in about 10 minutes; the nice bath robes were used.

one word AMAZING!

Posted Feb 18, 2015
I was honestly shocked and how amazing my stay was. I was expecting it to be great, but did not expect it to go above and beyond my expectations. I must say when I was looking for a hotel I had a list so long that all my friends told me I was not being realistic and that I was too high maintenance. Well I definitely found heaven on earth! The staff was so nice that even though gratuity was included it made you want to tip them. I have never had service like that in the US and you still leave tips for a half butt job. The food was so good that we could not stop eating. Every place we went to had something so amazing (only place I wasn't a fan of was sea salt restaurant, but the hubby loved it). The hotel and room was spotless, and they most definitely did not skip a beat. Everything was perfect! The only thing I wish they changed was the price for spa services... I am willing to pay American prices for massages, but to pay $220 usd for a massage is crazy! Just an fyi. Oh and the hotel credits kind of suck, wish you could use all the credits for a specific thing your interested in as opposed to using $40 towards massage, $40 towards wine tasting, $100 towards private dinner, etc. Even with that we will for sure be back to this hotel in the future. You won't regret it; it's worth the price!

Fantastic Honeymoon!!!

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Clean, modern, newer building, adults only, polite and professional staff. Food and drinks are of a higher quality then most all inclusive hotels.
This was our third stay at the hotel. We chose it to spend our Honeymoon there because of our great experiences on our previous 2 trips there. We also invited my wife's parents as they have never been to the Caribbean or All Inclusive Resort before. After booking two Preferred Club Deluxe Ocean View Junior Suites (our usual rooms), I contacted the Secrets The Vine (STV) reservations department about possible upgrades for us as I am an Expedia VIP Gold Member. Much to our delight and surprise a received a prompt response from Claudia O. the Reservations Chief at STV. She asked for our Expedia itinerary and I emailed to her a copy along with our new marriage certificate. She then confirmed that because of our Expedia Gold Status, they did have availability for a free upgrade to an Preferred Club Oceanview Honeymoon Suite and that we could upgrade further to a Preferred Club Oceanfront Suite for a reasonable fee. When we arrived, unfortunately they only had one preferred ocean front honeymoon suite and one preferred oceanview honeymoon suite available. It turned out that the Oceanview Suite was even larger than the Oceanfront Suite! We stayed in the Oceanview Preferred Honeymoon Suite and our parents stayed in the Preferred Oceanfront room. Our room was on the top floor, Room 2814 and it was Fantastic! Our parents loved the resort and I want to say THANK YOU STV and Especially Claudia O. for her professional assistance and for making our stay a Dream Honeymoon!

Great Stay!

Cons: Needs an authentic Mexican restaurant. Needs less noise in the morning since walls are thin.
Everything about this place was awesome. Service was great and food was amazing for an all inclusive.

Amazing Hotel! Absolute Paradise!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
My husband and I went for a last minute surprise Valentines weekend. This hotel is so gorgeous and the staff is amazing and accommodating. From the moment we arrived we were just in awe with the small details put into this hotel. We were "Preferred Guests" in a Junior Ocean View Suite, so we had privileges to the Preferred lounge. The bartender there made us the most beautiful drinks and we enjoyed fresh ceviche and snacks while we waited for our room. When we got checked into our room, our butler came and immediately brought us fresh fruit and wine. The room was so beautiful with gorgeous ocean and pool views. I am sure there is not a single room in this hotel that is bad. The room was richly decorated and we had our own little steamroom/shower. The balcony was spacious and beautifully furnished. Our first day there we were able to use the Spa which was absolute bliss and so serene. We had amazing couples massages and everything was just perfect. While we waited in a room with pebbled floors, they brought us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The grounds of the hotel are perfectly manicured and everything screams luxury. Now down to my ONLY disappointment w/ this hotel, we booked a private "romantic candlelight dinner" on the beach at an extra cost. Food was horrible, cold rolls, waiters didn't know what they were doing. To their credit, the manager changed the menu at the last minute and it was hard to shuffle food from the restaurant to the beach. But it total
