Not the best choice

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: the cabanas they have for resting nice and comfy !!
Cons: the food, i like to eat a lot on my vacation but the food was horrible
Location: the location was perfect everything near by the bus stop is in front of the hotel 10 min to the clubs and shopping center
the buffet was horrible, didn't have to much food and the food was horrible, everyday the same menu. They have 4 restaurant all of them are suppose to be included but the 5 days I was there the Italian restaurant have a romantic dinner so if we want to eat there we have to pay for it. the food on the restaurant was way better than the buffet but still not good enough. the water at the beach was kind of dirty, it was not a tropical or clear beach. Alcohol, you will get the cheapest and worse liquor ever, but it wasn't only at the hotel if you pay for any night club it will be the same , don't expect at corona or a known beer or liquor even at the famous coco bongo night club the price is about 80 dollar all drink included but if you paid 30 for any other around the area will get the same thing. I enjoy my vacation because everyday I paid extra to be out of the hotel, jets, swimming with dolphin, scuba diving atvs etc it was a nice experience but the hotel itself it not worth the price .

Wait staff & cleaning people are very nice.

Pros: I love this resort....It's was just this year that was disappointing....
Cons: The Customer Service in the lobby. They need to step up their Game and give good Customer Service...
I have been going to this resort for 7 yrs. This yr my hubby surprised me with a 4 day trip before our 7 day vaca in Aug. I was very disappointed!!! I felt like I was in a room that no one had used in years. No alarm clock no pics in the room my lamp shade was burnt. Just wasn't the same Temptation. Then when I went to complain the concierge told me to let Expedia know. I was so upset, it's your resort!! They need to get it together they will lose business.

Great Vacation

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: All adult and all inclusive, a party atmosphere every night.
Cons: Not much to say bad about this place only thing that was a downer was the sea weed on the beach but they have staff that kept up with it every morning
Me and my wife wanted something fun, relaxing and with a beautiful scenery and we got it all. The Resort is amazing, the staff is super friendly and we can't wait to go back.

FUN

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Outgoing people. Nobody cares if you are doctor, lawyer or indian chief!
Cons: We hear they are updating all the rooms.
Location: We only stay on site. Have been to Cancun 33 times.
This was 7 years in a row May week. We know so many couples that return each year same time. Met many new also. Everyone is outgoing and friendly. Staff is great. They changed up some of the activities, it was a nice change when going there often.

Fun adult resort

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: The atmosphere is comfortable. You can be risky or conservative. No one there is judging. It's what you make it.
Cons: I would like more rooms available with king beds. There seems to be a limited number. But we made due.
Location: Easy cab ride or bus to downtown Cancun. Nice run too. Walking distance to ferry to the island. Variety store and pharmacy across the street.
6 Days/5 Nights. Easy check in. Room ready on time. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Party scene or quiet pool was perfect for either mood. Perfect place to reconnect with your partner if you'd like to have a little (or you could have a lot if you like) fun without the kids! The staff work hard to make your vacation enjoyable.

The bad with the good.

The Hotel needs updating, furnishings in lobby sitting area, Buffet area, Moldy curtains. English TV would have been nice for AM News and night time watching if you were done partying for the day/night. The Party Pool was pretty gross stuff floating around a lot. At the Beach you could only go out very short distance because of sea weed, would have been nice if the took care of that. Also the concierge made you think they were offering a deal on an excursion but really they were trying to get you to buy into the hotel via nights per year or something, we figured it out before going because they were pushy about it and acting like it was so great. The trip over all was fun and interesting the shows were great, food real good. The Temporary tattoo lady Angie did great work! plus over all good person. People watching and meeting was a lot of fun a lot of nice creative people. Don't expect to get a lot of sleep on this trip. Adults on spring break is what it is.

Good times, will return...

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Quite happy with the food and staff (especially the bartenders who work their tails off!)
Cons: violin player; fun for two minutes, but played forever, literally. My crowd poll showed the consensus that he needed to go away and cheered when done
Location: near nothing (especially the airport), but bus is cheap and fast to downtown, couple excursion and rental places nearby, location is good enough.
Older property, but mostly well kept. Only real gripe was my room a/c, it would only really keep the heat and humidity at bay in the early morning hours before they sun got a grip on it, however did not spend much time in the room. Staff was pretty good, friendly, attentive, that sorta thing. Guests are friendly and have more than a few interesting stories to share. That really makes the trip, the lack of kids really was also a huge plus, something I had not really thought about prior to the trip.

Fourth Trip Down the Rabbit Hole...

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Staff, activities available, use of catamarans, food, drinks, party themes...
Cons: Our shower door's seal was bad so it leaked into the bathroom a little. But there is a floor drain in the bathroom n renovations are on the horizon.
Location: They have all kinds of outings available, however, we have never done any of them. The resort is very fun and there is really no reason to leave.
So, this was the fourth time we have visited Temptation. They have done a lot of renovations since last year, and I hear there are more on the horizon. The staff (specifically Sarah, Georgia, Layla and JJ) is amazing for getting the party going, and fueling the fire. The bar tenders and housekeeping staff are wonderful. While you don't have to tip, please do...it really means so much to them. Remember, they are making very low salaries. Security is great, we actually witnessed the confiscation of a cell phone from some jerk who was trying to film the girls without their tops on. The resort supports an open minded atmosphere, while enforcing rules of respect. We always meet awesome people at TTR and enjoy the nightly entertainment. They have changed a few of the theme nights, which was kind of nice, since we are 'repeat offenders'. If you are an accepting, open minded person or couple, GO!!! If not, please don't go, your bummer attitude will ruin it for everyone else.
