“Great, quiet, elegant resort”

I was looking for a quiet, elegant escape from winter and was not disappointed. The hotel has interesting architecture, immaculate grounds and large rooms that I would have been happy never leaving. The beach was clean,not overcrowded and great for swimming. The gym was modern and well equipped and the spa's service and facility was amazing. The restaurants were good, not great, but I ate very well and the drinks were all top shelf. The staff is friendly and very attentive. There is no real nightlife and the hotel is well removed from the bustle of the Hotel Zone - something that I valued but it may not be for everyone. The bottom line is that I would/will go back.

“Relaxing experience”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 week. It was very relaxing and wonderful experience. Restaurants had warm atmosphere and provided very nice foods and drinks. Staff were very friendly and kind. They greeted us everytime and everywhere with smile. Since guests were consisted of a couple and a family with baby, we were able to relax without being disturbed by boisterous of youngsters. I earnestly recommend this hotel for a adult couple.

“Laid back beach”

We rented a two floor casita and it was very nice. The casitas are closer to the beach and the upper level offers some privacy from other guests. The place is very quiet and the staff displayed great hospitality. The food was all sit down and served to you (except the breakfast buffet). I liked the menus as did my wife. They've got a little bit of everything with the three restaurants, pizza place, and sushi bar. There were some children there mostly ages 2-8 but not enough that it was overwhelming. If you want to sit on the beach and relax in the sun for a week, this is the place to do it. It wasn't crowded either. There are only three hotels on the entire beach. If you want to hit up all the excursions and party hard, you might want to get a cheaper place closer to the action in Cancun or Isla Mujeres.

“Super Staff!”

The staff was oustanding, my husband and I enjoyed their friendliness and their willingness to visit and interact with us, as well as bending over backward to provide excellent service. In addition the food was fabulous!! We never got bored with the selections everything was so good. The hotel was quiet and layed back, not a party hotel which we liked.

“Good for a short getaway, friendly, good spa”

Very good service. Great spa. Couples ritual was great. Facial was ok. Food was good, I recommend the fish tacos and grilled fish dishes. Not so many vegetarian options. Small private beach. Went in early February, not crowded. Quiet place. Pleasant and relaxing experience.

“Relaxation Finally Perfected”

The Beloved Hotel is first class.. The management of the hotel obviously centers their vision on the guests and their needs. The staff was eager, pleasant and very understanding. They were prompt and courteous. The facility itself is well built and well maintained inside and out. We are seasoned travelers and I would say this is one of the nicest and most relaxing resorts we have ever visited.

“Book The Beloved now. You won't regret it!”

The hotel is beautiful and clean, and even though it was fully booked when we stayed there, we never had trouble finding a quiet place to relax. We stayed in a Junior Ocean View Suite and it was huge, with a private jacuzzi tub overlooking the patio. The patio also has a comfy daybed on it, which was perfect for private afternoon napping. Your minibar is stocked and refilled daily...and the shower is unbelievable. The pool bar is fantastic, and we had snacks everyday out on the beach from the little pizza place. The shrimp tostadas are delicious and fresh. The staff on the beach are attentive and bring you anything you need. Our favorite restaurant was Isla Grill, and we had many lunches and dinners there. Definitely try the fried fish tacos and chips and guacamole for appetizers. We also loved the sushi at Lupita Lounge and the Mexican wines. You can eat healthy here if you want to, as there are many light and healthy options at all of the restaurants. The fitness center is also beautiful and clean, and although we didn't go to the spa, we heard it was fantastic and worth the $$ because you'll be in there for hours enjoying the pools and steam treatments that are complimentary with any spa service. If you want a quiet getaway to totally unwind, come to this hotel. I have a rule that with so many places to visit in the world, why repeat a stay somewhere? However, I would break that rule in a second to go back to The Beloved. Loved every relaxing moment!

“A highly recommended resort”

My ratings simply concur with what most others have said about this magnificent resort. The all-inclusive plan provides comfort, service, and convenience. The site plan provides for both privacy and activity. From our arrival to departure we felt more than accommodated. I would suggest a 3 to 4 day stay at the resort with 2+ additional days for activities off site. In any case, there are many options to entertain couples and families. If you are traveling from (or to) Florida, it only a 2 hour flight. As to be expected, spa services require an extra charge. The Jr. Suite we stayed in had a jacuzzi and "rain" shower head with a balcony overlooking one of three pools. Upper floors have an ocean view. The hotel has a convenient (if not cheap) ATM for any needed pesos or American dollars. The front desk will exchange dollars into pesos but not pesos into dollars. The free Wi-Fi works well indoors and outside close to buildings.

“Go...don't hesitate....go.”

Our time at the Beloved Hotel surpassed all our expectations. The service was top notch and the staff anticipated and addressed our needs AND whims. The setting was picturesque. I will only mention a few negatives so as the hoteliers can benefit from the feedback. The spa tub in the room was shallow. the furniture in the Lupita lounge was a bit uncomfortable. The loungers by the ocean could be a little more comfortable. HOWEVER, there are too many outstanding features for this property to list. The food was varied, and always presented beautifully. The music at night equaled many great venues we have visited. The spa experience was expensive but worth the cost. The check in and check out experience occurred without a hitch. The colors, the landscaping (although new) added to the experience of nature, the furnishings in the room were comfortable and tasteful. The rooms were always cleaned and organized after service. One major problem. The showers were so relaxing and enjoyable we stayed in it for a better part of the first morning. We missed the first early morning at the beach!We would go back

“Love The Beloved”

It as an absolute lovely hotel with an incredible beach and very attentive staff. All around, excellent. I adore that it is away from the hustle and bustle. This hotel is a totally relaxing paradise but still family friendly.
