Incredible resortPosted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: The size (smaller...so you do not get the massive crowds), luxurious accommodations, proximity to the beach and only 25 minutes from the airport.
Cons: Food quality could be a little better...but much better than any other all inclusive resort we have been to.
Location: Private...not by the crowded hotel zone. 25 minutes from the airport.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and could not have been more pleased. The accommodations are great and the staff is extremely courteous. The spa is top notch. We are planning on going back in October for our sons 16th birthday. It is off the beaten path...not by the crowded hotel zone...private and somewhat secluded, however never questioned our safety and security. Never had to wait for a table in the restaurants.

Second time at the BelovedPosted Jan 26, 2015
It was my second time there and I had a wonderful vacation. However, the food wasn't as good as the first time I was there, 3 years ago. The menu was reduced, the portions were smaller and the freshness of the ingredients was a little off too. On the last day, the cleaning staff accidentally put used shampoo and body lotion instead of a new one. The staff is extremely friendly but that does not mean that their service is exceptional. Overall, my experience was great but I'm not sure if I'll be heading their for the third time.

Great vacation. Beautiful resort. Wonderful staff. Only dislikes: too many small children, even in pool with swim up bar & beach small ocean full of seaweed.

Trip too short!Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Not too big, close proximity to pools, beach, restaurants and spa.
Cons: Dinner needs an upgrade
Location: Never left the resort!
The Beloved was fantastic. The rooms, the pools, the beach, the staff and the SPA. The food was OK, much better than most all-inclusives. Breakfast & lunch were easy, dinner was a bit of a challenge.

Extremely nice staffPosted Jan 18, 2015
Perfect vacation. Waiter service was excellent. Especially Edoardo and jose. It was hot on the beach and we were never without a cold drink. housekeeping was excellent as well. The food was great and the entire resort was well-kept. You have to give a lot of credit to the senior management who keeps the staff well-trained.

Location: Very private and safe location......no need to leave resort
Quiet and relaxing atmosphere....Top notch Spa......very attentive staff who go above and beyond!!! The staff responds to requests so promptly.....I asked for extra towels in the room and they were delivered within minutes and a phone call was received from the front desk shortly after to make sure I had received the towels!

I paid for this hotel in a trip package via Expedia in September. I get to the hotel and was told that all the junior suites with an ocean view were overbooked and we would be staying at the Excellence (which is owned by the same company). We were promised an upgrade because of the inconvenience, which we did receive. We were placed in Building 9 which is directly across from new construction that went on ALL DAY, EVERY DAY WE WERE THERE! I paid all this money to go on vacation to be "upgraded" to a construction site. We couldn't sit out on the lovely balcony because of the loud noise. Could you imagine spending a ton of money and this is what you encounter???? Also, the conceriage that helped us really down played the noise. I am really disappointed.

Semplicemente stupendo!Posted Jan 6, 2015
Buon soggiorno!
