Nice and quiet
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: The towel service at the beach.
Location: There was a shopping mall near by. We liked to walk around. So, it took us only 15-20 mins from the resort to the mall.
We had a great time to stay at the Ritz Carlton for our honeymoon. The hotel's staff were so friendly and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing for both of us. We will definitely consider it again next time when we are in Cancun.

Location: Great location, Shopping (La Isla and Kukukan)
We are return customers and this year like last did not disappoint. This is the first time traveling with our baby and the hotel definitely caters to families. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the food very good. The hotel is located close to shopping and other attractions.

CANCUN EXCELLENCE
Posted Jan 5, 2013
Pros: Beach location, friendly staff, food
Cons: Having to leave
Located on the most pristine beach location in the hotel zone in Cancun, the Ritz Carlton provides the best of everything. Outstanding service, amenities and food. This is not the place to go on the cheap. You get what you pay for, which is excellence. The best dining experience in Cancun is at Fantino on the Lobby Level. Try the Club Grill for a more casual dining experience. Dine inside or outside, or beach front at a variety of restaurants. Centrally located to all shops in the business district. What makes this resort truly special is the people...the staff is top-notch. My wife and I travel the globe and stay at Ritz Carltons, this is one of the best managed and cleanest in the brand. The beach is stunning, white sand and crystal clear blue waters. You will not be disappointed.

Upscale all the way!

My husband and I went to Cancun and had our first experience staying at the Ritz Carlton. From the moment we walked in the door of the hotel, we were treated exceptionally well. We were checked in with no wait at all long before check in time. We were also upgraded to an ocean front room. The room was spacious with elegant furnishings. The beddings were changed daily and the maids paid attention to details..like filling up the ice buckets, extra towels and turndown service. The restaurants on site were fantastic. Breakfast was about 30 us dollars daily. Try the waffles. They were great!!! We had dinner at Fantinos and it was like nothing we had ever experienced before. Very very upscale. Chairs and umbrellas were always available at the pool. The attendants would escort you to your location and set up everything. There was somebody always making sure that your order was taken or that you had everything you needed. The service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!!!

Cons: Room (great views but a bit out-of-date)

Good hotel with impeccable quality of staff members going the extra mile. Excellent breakfast, great children programme and excellent gym and SPA facilities. Room rates are very affordable though food and wine rather expensive.

some tips for your trip
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Probably one of the best experiences I had. Excellent service, very very cool ocean view, nice warmed swimming pools (my son really likes it). A few tips: 1. It is worth the extra $ to update your room: you will get a much bigger patio and a much better ocean view (although all rooms face the ocean, the angels are different). 2. If you have an Asian tongue, the restaurants in this hotel might not fully satisfy you. They only have a sushi bar. But, if you walk 5 minutes to JW Marriot (very close to , they have two Asian restaurants). 3. There is a guy selling necklace on the beach. I bought 2 necklaces for $10. Later on, I found the quality is so high (actually much better than those in the fancy stores, in my opinion). 4. So coconut trees in the hotel. Pick one coconut and ask the chef on the beach BBQ restaurant to open it for you :-)

Ritz Carlton Cancun - Awesome
Posted Jan 31, 2013
Ritz Carlton Cancun provided my family with superb service. The family had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the amenities of the hotel. The club level staff were very caring to our needs. It's nice to know that they are fully prepared on the tasks at hand especially identifying who their guests are. They know who you are before you know that they know who you are. Being it is a luxury hotel, Ritc Carlton Cancun provided the best food and drinks to the family. This was our second stay at the Ritz Carlton Cancun. We look forward to going back in the future.

Cancun with style
Posted Jan 31, 2013
Pros: Staff gives you a VIP treatment.
Cons: nothing
Location: on the major road and within walking distance of 2 nice malls
I rented a suite (room 3023) which had a gorgeous view! It is hard to get something better than the Ritz experience at Cancun. I highly recommend dining at "Las Casitas" even though they charge you USD100 for using it. I sincerely recommend that couples with young children don't come because they cannot enjoy dining at night, swimming in the ocean and other amenities

Top hotel pick ever
Posted Jan 31, 2013
Pros: View and staff
Cons: None
Location: Perfect location
I went to Cancun alone and had an amazing time, this hotel is in a perfect location to everything I got on the bus and went to the markets and very good restaurants. The ritz Carlton Cancun is the best hotel location in cancun. Staff is helpful and amazing and you can't ask for the most beautiful views in the mornings. My room had a balcony right off the ocean the most amazing trip thus far.
