Location: Visit La isla mall great outing and dining. Take excursion from out side, better options
One of the most pampering Hospitality service by staff. Yet it was disappointing to see old worn out furniture along with old decor and artworks. Lobbies furniture been upholster but still ripped and worn out. wood walls are piling and not appealing at all. beach is excellent, pool is good but walls need repair. Hotel is very clean and Staff everywhere is just outstanding and they sure go out of their way to accommodate you. Only disappointment was they could not honor our request fro two bed even though we requested to Expedia and called Ritz to confirm. Wi fi was poor and slow

Cancun at the Ritz-Carlton

Pros: Not fully booked and quite....not competing to be in line with 100 other guests for services
Cons: Faster hot water to shower
Location: Hotel zone is all resorts. Several dinner houses nearby. Breakfast and Lunch is more difficult to plan if not eating at an all inclusive hotel.
First time ever in Mexico, Cancun or a Ritz-Carlton. The hotel was very nice....not overly posh or stuffy. The staff was available and willing to help with any questions about the hotel, attractions, restaurants, transportation or Cancun area.. As hotels go, prices are inflated at the restaurant and gift shops but that is to be expected and not complained about. There were absolutely NO Extra hidden fees or charges at check-out. Great experience at the Ritz-Carlton.....If ever in Cancun Mexico again, we would go back to RC without any second thoughts.

Somewhat overpriced....

We stayed for 12 nights at the Ritz. This was not our first time in a Ritz and we have to state the following: - peronnel is well trained and very friendly and helpful - the standard rooms are outdated - restaurants are very good but really pricy-breakfast costs pp. ....not good compared to other hotels there...ME was way better! - sun chairs are old and sometimes broken - fitness facilities are well maintained and well equipped - beach is awesome !!! *** We moved to club level after complaining about somebody vacuuming at 1:00am an people being very loud on their way back to their rooms in the middle of the night....*** - club level rooms are remodeled - club level service is outstanding - AC in upper level is unable to maintain 73F in the summer... even at night. - club level had some dressing requirements for certain events...deliberately ignored by... lets say folks being too much into themselves to care... there are very good restaurants accross the street for a reasonable price. As always, the VIP status with Expedia does not open any door or makes your stay any better.....

Pros: customer service was great
Cons: notify consumers of blind fees related to car rental
very enjoyable vacation, the only issue we had was with car rental company (fox) you are notified at fox car rental front desk that you have to purchase insurance per day for your rental which came out to an additional fee of 38.00 dollars per day of rental, wish expedia would have mention that to us before we booked package, other than that cancun and ritz carlton treated us very good, relaxing thanks mark

Relaxing Beautiful Beach at the Ritz! Watched the Turtle season laying eggs by our beach!!
