*FIVE STAR SERVICE*Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and the staff was excellent.
Location: Take the shuttle to the Sands it has a great beach and a bigger pool.
We just arrived home from one week at the Royal Cancun and had the most enjoyable time ever in Cancun. The rooms were very nice. The entire staff was top notch from the front desk and wait staff to the maids and shuttle drivers. The food was good. The Italian restaurant at the Royal Cancun was absolutely fabulous as was the Conquistador at the Islander. The beach is sheltered so you don't get the big waves of the open ocean but it was very nice. We will definitely return.

A great, low-key all inclusive resort situated on a sheltered cove; great swimming and great food.

Great resort, beautiful views from everywhere!Posted Nov 12, 2014
This had been our first family vacation and by far it has been a great experience at the Royal Cancun. It's a kid friendly environment, and their staff made us feel at home. We had an awesome 8 days full of fun, activities and relaxation.

Great for family.Posted Nov 10, 2014
Timeshare type property, which allows 'all inclusive' rentals if there is availability. We went here due to bringing both teenagers so there was extra room and beds. Cleanest place I've stayed in Mexico, which is many times. Very courteous and honest staff. They offer timeshare presentation but there is no pressure.

THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE WITHOUT SOME STEPS.Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: food, room, beachview, activity. steps etc.
THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE ;facillites, room codition, dining, activity trainers. But steps of front desk are bad: ex) when we check out, the step didn't explain to submit voucher to shuttle bus driver. So we had search the papers for a long time. therefore, he departure was delayed and the driver looked like angry. also, the front desk didn'nt connect stepfor activity schedule, so we joined activity at third day. we couldnot join majority of activity because of too late.
