“Very nice staff”
This hotel was great. The hotel staff will go out of their way to accomodate your needs or wants. The resort has a great size grocery store, you do not need to leave the resort for anything. Everything is there. The rooms were clean. The only thing I wasn't too happy with was the policy about changing the rooms on Saturdays. I got a headache during the changing room process.
“Great vacation and resort.”
Staff were courteous and friendly. They were very attentative to our needs and willing to assist us when we had problems with our flight and transportation to the airport. The resort provided lots of activities and entertainment. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.
“Wonderful experience”
My husband and I had a fantastic experience at the Royal Caribbean. The food was fantastic. The property was meticulously maintained. They seem to be constantly working on it. Our room was kept sparkling clean. And the beach was great. We had been there a few years ago after Cancun was hit by a major hurricane and the beach was disappointing. But this year, it was back and better than every. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful, and nicely so. I just can't imagine a better place to have a caribbean vacation.
“Great Hotel”
It is a very nice hotel with beautiful beaches. It caters more to the older demographics (50+), at least when we were there. Everything was spotless, only downside was dealing with the towel exchange everyday.
“Can't wait to go back”
I really loved that experience I really recommend this Hotel, it was more than I expected, I can't wait to go back, the employess are kindly, helpful and really friendly our room was nice and clean all days that we stayed there. Food was excellent and I love the shopping store.
“Cancun”
very satisfied
“Good room value, but prepare to spend a lot on property food.”
Royal Caribbean is in the middle of three Royal properties, all connected and right on the perfect Cancun beach, and the public facilites are interchangeable. However, I got lost several times looking for my room because the layouts are exactly alike. The room was lovely, and most importantly, the bed and pillows wonderfully comfortable (not common in Mexico generally). Every room has a view of the various pools and beach. Service was as good as any "regular" hotel. The difference from other properties on hotel row is that this is a timeshare, and so not all-inclusive. The restaurants on the Royal properties are expensive, as well as the grocery store in the Royal Caribbean. But it is easy to take a bus to the town and restaurants. There are shops and a travel agency in the lobby. And a welcome feature in Cancun in the big hotels--You can put toilet paper in the toilet, and you can drink the tap water. Horray! I was traveling solo, but the facility is family-friendly, with activities for children. My standard room had a separate alcove with microwave, frig., and coffee maker, a walk-in closet with safe, iron and ironing board, and hairdrier in bathroom.
“The Royal Resorts are great.”
The rooms are well maintained and comfortable but not luxurious. Don't settle for the "lock off" hotel room. Pay the few extra bucks and get the 1BR suite especially if you have 3 or 4 in your party. The staff is very friendly and courteous and the service is outstanding. Food is good and drinks are reasonable. And there is a happy hour every day.
“Great Place in Cancun to Stay!”
Great Place to stay
“Do NOT stay here!!!!! The managers are NASTY and don't care about guests!”
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We found out upon checkin that this is a Timeshare, not a hotel. They don't provide shampoo, etc., nor do they provide maintenance when your shower doesn't drain, and they occasionally turn off the water while you're in the middle of your shower. They don't even offer to reimburse you for your own bottles of water that you needed to use to get the soap out of your eyes when they turned the water off while you were in the shower. We also found out that there are rules like no guests after 10pm after we had already been checked in. The managers were incredibly nasty and unhelpful. They made it clear that the hotel policy was NOT the customer is always right, but rather just say NO to everything. I repeat, do NOT stay here.
