“Very nice staff”

This hotel was great. The hotel staff will go out of their way to accomodate your needs or wants. The resort has a great size grocery store, you do not need to leave the resort for anything. Everything is there. The rooms were clean. The only thing I wasn't too happy with was the policy about changing the rooms on Saturdays. I got a headache during the changing room process.

“Royal disappointment”

The staff was very friendly but the hotel was just OK. The rooms were somewhat comfortable but the hotel tried to nickel and dime you for extra profits. They raised prices on things, watered down their drinks at happy hour and gave a poor return on currency conversion. Also, beware of the pools as they don't have much chlorine and are more likely to cause health problems.

“30th Birthday Girl Trip”

The good: The layout of the room was great (we had a two room suite). Deck was big with lots of room afor a table and lounge chairs. Beautiful view. Pool was nice, clean, and very large. Beach was absolutely amazing. Bus stop in front of hotel which is cheap, clean, and really efficient. Each guests at the hotel has their own key tied to his/her name. So, if you travel with a group the hotel room bill will automatically itemize each guests transactions - we found this very convenient. The bad: The food was disgusting. The beds were REALLY uncomfortable. Also, the maid service was not good at all. Basically they made the beds and brought in new towels - no cleaning. The front desk customer service was the worst I've ever experienced in Mexico. The hotel was nice and relaxing but you do have to take a cab or a bus to get a decent meal. That's fine (even preferable for dinner) but can be tiresome for breakfast or a quick lunch when you just want to lay on the beach. The age of the guests were all substantially older then us (we were all 30). It was like being at a retirement community. We didn't mind - it made the pool side lounging very calm and relaxing. But, it's worth mentioning, if you are looking for entertainment at the hotel - you will not find ANY here.

“Do NOT stay here!!!!! The managers are NASTY and don't care about guests!”

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We found out upon checkin that this is a Timeshare, not a hotel. They don't provide shampoo, etc., nor do they provide maintenance when your shower doesn't drain, and they occasionally turn off the water while you're in the middle of your shower. They don't even offer to reimburse you for your own bottles of water that you needed to use to get the soap out of your eyes when they turned the water off while you were in the shower. We also found out that there are rules like no guests after 10pm after we had already been checked in. The managers were incredibly nasty and unhelpful. They made it clear that the hotel policy was NOT the customer is always right, but rather just say NO to everything. I repeat, do NOT stay here.
