Very nice hotel with super friendly staffPosted May 2, 2015
Pros: Wasn't anything I really didn't like
Location: It was about 30 minutes north of the airport, & 15 minutes north of Cancun, so pretty much anything you wanted to do in Cancun was near by.
At this hotel it was like my wish was their command, nice pools, restaurant's, right on the beach. & next to the Ferry going to the Island

Love it 2nd time here, and now members I would highly recommend this for couples and families. The all inclusive option is definitely worth it even with my family and I not drinking we saved $63 per day

Great hotelPosted Apr 24, 2015
Cons: Only improvement needed is the showers. The tubs are high. Tough for older to people to get in. Otherwise awesome!
Location: Ferry to Isla Mujeres within walking distance.
Just got back from Cancun. Service at Villa Del Palmar was excellent. All inclusive system was easy to follow. Pools were great. Hotel not too crowded. Beautiful views. Free shuttle to market, mall or "party zone". We were there just to relax and they had entertainment every night at 9pm. Would definately go back.

Great resort with private beachPosted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Well kept hotel, good breakfast spread, excellent pools and beach with ample dining options.
Excellent hotel facilities. Clean beach near to ferry terminal for isla mujeres. We had a long wait for dinner on two nights as the restaurants seemed to be swamped. Check in time is 4pm, which sucked coz we reached our hotel in the morning, but they have a nice changing room to get guests comfortable prior to check in.

Beautiful hotel away from it all.Posted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: The restaurants are awesome!
Cons: The beach is nice, but they need a larger area to take out Kayaks and paddle boards. It only takes a few paddles and you are at the boundary.
Location: The hotel is way north and you will need a taxi to get to any restaurants or shops in Cancun.
This is a great hotel in the very north of Cancun. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and helpful and the pools are great. The 2 bedroom ocean view suite is very nice with a kitchen, common area and great bedrooms. The beach is not great, but if you are there for a short trip it will do. If you are going for snorkeling, you will need to look for better options like Isla Mujeres. It is a long ways from Cancun shopping and restaurants. Plan on a taxi and extra time if you are doing tours to X Caret, Xel Ha or the temples.

Overall a very nice resortPosted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Great staff, lovely spa, quiet location and maid service every day.
Cons: Move the gym from the dungeon depths next to the kitchen and waste area and put up bigger signs by the adults only pool to deter noisy kids.
Location: Resort is 15 minutes drive north of the hotel zone so there is nothing nearby apart from the passenger ferry across to Isla Mujeres.
We booked a two bedroom apartment with full kitchen as we hate all inclusive. They said it was a penthouse with ocean views but as it was on the first floor all we looked at was the top of the Casona Restaurant. Having said that the apartment was huge and nicely furnished with a large wrap round terrace with a jacuzzi and had two large double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a separate loo and pull down bed in the lounge. Maid service came every day and the few maintenance issues we had with the safe, jacuzzi and the door lock jamming were dealt with very quickly. Staff are very efficient and the whole resort is well maintained and immaculately clean. Long walk from the lobby to our room which was right on the end and you can't park anywhere near - valet takes the car on arrival so long schlep with any shopping. Davino restaurant was very nice, snack bar also good, coffee shop/deli appallingly slow and disorganised and Zuma restaurant strange food and slow service. Only real criticism is the in your face timeshare presentations - 90 minute "no pressure" presentation took 3 hours and was so full on it was unreal as they just won't take no for an answer. They are about to start building another resort next door so there was a constant stream of people being wheeled round the place. It's nice but not that nice!

HOTEL EN ZONA NO HOTELERAPosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: HABITACIONES, DECORACION DEL HOTEL Y LA VISTA
Cons: SERVICOS COMO LOS HIELOS. MUY LENTO Y NO EXISTEN MAQUINAS EN LOS PISOS, HAY QUE SOLICITARLO.
Location: EL LUGAR ES MUY BONITO, SIN EMBARGO NO EXISTEN (O NO SE VE PROMOCION) DE LOS ALREDEDORES. Y EL ULTIMO DIA SUPIMOS DE PUERTO CANCUN.
MUY BIEN, EL LUGAR ES MUY BONITO Y AGRADABLE. LOS ALIMENTOS MUY BUENOS Y LO MAS IMPRESIONANTE SON SUS SUITES, TIENEN PRACTICAMENTE TODO. EN VIAJES ANTERIORES CON PAQUETES SIMILARES SUPERAN LA EXPECTATIVA. ESPEREMOS ASI SIGAN POR QUE PENSAMOS REGRESAR
