"A beautiful old palace on the Grand Canal. Breakfast was amazing! Front desk staff recommended restaurants that were out of the way and delicious! Our room was HUGE! We asked for softer pillows, and they were there waiting for us that night!!! GREAT HOTEL!!!"

"The best part of this hotel was its proximity to the train station. Venice is not easy to get around with luggage so I specifically sought out a hotel where we wouldn't have to walk far once arriving. However, once you drop your luggage off, the hotel is close to anything you'd want to do in Venice. It was about a 20 minute walk to Piazza San Marco (which you should see and then leave) but there's so much to do on the way, you will surely stop and eat, drink, and shop along the route. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was good. Our room was off of an alley and didn't have a view but that's what you get when you book it as a last minute travel change. The room was pretty hot over night, the air conditioning didn't really seem to work. We slept with the windows open and it was fine. I would definitely come back and stay here again, though I'd pay more for a room with a view. "

"Nice location, walkable distance from some reference points in venice, not far from the Canalgrande public transportation. Very well kept and comfortable common areas. Not exciting the swimming facility, but well kept. Very kind reception and service persons. Good for families, great attention and tolerance with children."
