“Friendly staff, I'll be back”

Comfort room so comfortable I wanted to take the bed home. Only tiny negative point is that the balcony's plastic furniture is a little dated. The plastic furniture on the 5th floor sun terrace is also a little dated, having said that it is great to have the use of the sun terrace with views overlooking Juan Les Pins and the sea. Lovely to watch the sunset.

“Great Service!”

Really a great hotel! The location has great views! We got a bad room to begin with, but were QUICKLY changed to a better room with and even better view. I say definitely stay here. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Definitely, definitely would reccomend this hotel to a friend!

“Hotel worth 3 times what was paid and I am fussy where I stay”

If you are going to stay in Juan les Pins, then this is the hotel. Location is better than ideal and the other hotels in the area. Yet the Best Western is walking distance ( 200 meters) to the heart of the town. Note that there are two Best Western hotels in the Town . The one you want is the La Pavois.

“We had a view!!”

I wasn't expecting to have a view of the Meditteranean Sea at this price so when I looked out the window I was surprised. We had a 3rd floor room. From the floorplan of the hotel, it looks like most if not all rooms above the trees would have a view. The rooftop terrace is nice as well. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Juan-les-Pins is very convenient. We used it as a base and took day trips to Monaco, Nice, Cannes and Antibes. The hotel was perfectly situated and a short walk to free public beaches as well as pay beaches. It was hard to find the first night. We chose to walk (mapless). The walk was short. Finding it without a map made it longer. If you get to the Jardin de la Pinede on Avenue Georges Gallice, walk through the park to the large stone cross (war memorial). Avenue Saramartel will be across to your left and you will see the hotel up the street. Or, take a map or print an image from Google Earth to help you get there. It really would have been easy to find and walk to from the train if I'd had a map. Juan-Les-Pins is very small and quaint and easy to get around on foot.

“Very comfortable”

Tea making facilities were welcome but we had to ask for this. When received, no milk was provided, although was provided when requested. In these environmentally conscious times there was no option not to have our towels changed daily.

Nice hotel, as described, art deco type, good breakfast.

“Just fine...”

Overall Le Grand Pavois was fine. It is not exceptional, but for a 3 star hotel, it is clean, the service is friendly and helpful. I can not complain about anything, but nor does anything stand out. For a clean, comfortable and reliable place to stay at a reasonable price, the Best Western usually delivers.

Just a walking distance to Juan Les Pins center. But its very quite. Good location and you get what you pay...

“Excellent base to explore the French Riviera”

Located only 200 yards from the central restaurant/bar area of Juans Les Pins, this hotel offers a quiet haven away from the throngs of tourist and locals. In primarily a residential area, there is little traffic noise or late night revelry, yet you are within 5 minutes walk of the beach and numerous bars and restaurants. About mid-way between Cannes and Nice, Monaco is just 40 minutes drive, or 2 hours on a scenic boat trip from the beach. Also 2 hours from the same point of disembarkation is St Tropez. And for the adveturous go to Gourdon just inland, which is one of the most beautiful villages in France with some of the most fantastic scenery from its high vantage point.
