Awful - owner rude and refused us to stay
I don’t even have words to describe this owner and place. Do not stay. He tried to charge more than stated on hotels, saying our dog looked heavier than his own so we had to pay €10 per night instead of €5. The whole process was a nightmare, and he ignored us when we arrived to finish polishing cutlery, not very professional, and then said he couldn’t find our booking. He was rude throughout and when we challenged him on his behaviour (see reviews on booking.com etc) having already paid he refused to let us stay and told us to leave his premises at 9pm in the middle of nowhere. Beware of the service, no idea what the rest of the place was like as he refused us a room but it looked pretty outdated and had a stale smell in the reception/restaurant

Dear Guest, your negative comment do not reflect the reality of our disagreement, for the following reasons : The dog was devinately above 5kg i would consider closer to 10kg. Initially you stated that there was no extra charge for your dog according to your reservation; I was obliges to show on Hotel.com that indeed there was an extra charge therefore you could not argue anymore. Finally once we have agreed on the dog extra charge and I presented you the total bill as show in details/ ROOM = € 65.00 DOG = € 5. 00 CITY TAX € 1.80 TOTAL € 71.80 ( COMPULSORY LOCAL TAX APPLIED TO ALL COUNTRIES AND TOWNS €.90 PER PERSON); You have again argued and treating me as a cheater,!!! according to your insult I as owner of the hotel did not accept you in my HOTEL and did not charge you any penny. in view of your nasty review II have contacted my loyer to initiate a legal action against you for your diffamatory comment and EXPEDIA-HOTEL.COM for allowing you to pablished your bad and untrue review.!!!!!! Cannes in the distance
This is a basic hotel on the extreme outskirts of Cannes. It was used as a crew hotel for the break down of Cannes Lions festival. The hotel was fine although basic. I always new it would be half an hour away from Cannes but this was it's biggest limiting factor

This hotel is ok! Staff is nice and it is cleaned. It is the typical two stars hotel in the south of France. Wi-Fi is an issue. it does say that Wi-Fi in the room and they are not. It is an issue when it is important in our day and age to stay connected. It was really annoying for us. Thanks.

No frills, cheapest I could find. Friendly owner.
It is a very simple room, clean enough, with a TV and Wifi. I chose it because it was the cheapest I could find in Cannes for the film festival.

Simple motel style with personal touch.
I was not sure at first as I arrived after reception had closed so didn't benefit from instructions about locking my room door. But that was swiftly explained in the morning by the very helpful owner. This very straightforward place is really no frills except a lovely looking swimming pool, it also delivered on cleanliness and service way in excess of what I have experienced when staying in this area before. Plus charging what was an excellent B&B rate in the middle of the Cannes Film Festival. Thank you.

Easy to get in, a nightmare to get out!
Beware: in the map the hotel look very close to the expressway, but due to road design it is easy to reach the hotel but a nightmare to get out. We reserved this hotel knowing it was not in downtown Cannes, but thinking, well at least is close to the expressway, so it is easy to go to Nice, Montecarlo, etc. It turns out even just going to Cannes is a miserable ordeal through narrow streets (at least that was the best my GPS found.) The hotel itself is unmemorable with a lot of road noise. If you squint your eyes real hard you can see the Mediterranean form the breakfast terrace, but not form the rooms that actually face the mountain.

Friendly staff but hotel needs disparate update.
Family of 4, one night stay. We stayed in 8 different hotels in this price range travelling along the coast. This place is run down and in some dire need for updating. The room was very tight. Wifi did not exist in the room and we had to sit in the lobby to use it. This consists of 4 chairs in a dimly lit room. Mattress was firm and in good shape though. The air conditioning was on but barely detectable airflow. No food around. Clean swimming pool. No shower curtain - as a result, there was a mess in the bathroom after 4 showers. I get the feeling it's not too many days until someone decides to demolish this place and rebuild. But the staff were friendly.

Cheap and free parking, that is all you can expect when staying at this hotel. The rooms clearly show that not a single penny has been spent on maintenance over the past 30 years.

You get what you pay for
Cannes is an expensive place to stay so if you find somewhere cheap don't expect too much. Sat nav could not find this place but it's right next to the ibis. Reception was closed between 2pm and 5pm (it was a Sunday). Having said that nice room next to the small pool, fridge, sat TV. Restaurant was closed on Sundays. On a sunny day it might be quite nice; certainly good to egg away from the bustle of Cannes. All in all I'd stay here again if on a budget but for no more than 2 nights.

Nice little place close to cannes downtown ifu have a car; otherwise not sure how to get around... there is a nice pool and standard breakfast ... decent price and clean. A little old and confising how to open/close door.. and ofcourse without french its hard to communicate.. overall it was good

Basic Hotel near Mougins
The bedroom had a very basic look. There was a TV on a rigid wall bracket that wouldn't move and was directly in line with the narrow passage from the bathroom to the bed. I knew as soon as I saw it, I would hit my head every night and so it proved! Neither element of the toilet seat would stay up. There was no shower curtain provided. The bed was uncomfortable.

There is a very cute hotel cat who lives on the property! Unfortunately, it's not that friendly and doesn't seem to like being petted. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the Cote d'Azur-we stayed here and went on day trips to Cannes, Nice, and Monaco. It's somewhat hard to get there driving--there's a difficult and confusing turn involving a roundabout and then some U-turns. The rooms are quite nice, but unfortunately somewhat old and could be maintained better. Our shower didn't feature a shower curtain, for some reason. One of the electrical outlets (of a total of two) had a bent ground pin, leaving only one outlet available for use. The ladder to the loft can be folded into the wall with a latch, but we discovered that the latch had fallen out of the wood, so we left the ladder unlatched for the duration of our stay. (This makes us question the integrity of the hinges on the ladder too. Fortunately the ladder stayed attached during our whole stay and nobody got hurt.) Except for one night, the Internet worked as promised. The reception desk is staffed until quite late.

Gérant et co-gerant à côté de la plaque… Notre salarié a dormi 3 nuits sur place, il a mis quelques courses (fermé) dans le frigo pour se restaurer, le lendemain à son retour du travail tout à disparu du frigo… (les chambres d’à coté avaient tous à manger dans les frigos aussi sans qu’ils aient été vidés) Il a été se plaindre à la réception, ce n’est de la faute de personne si ça été vidé, le gérant n’est pas responsable, la co-gérante non plus et se renvoient la balle sans trouver une solution !!! Même pas de dédommagement, ni de repas sur place pour s’excuser… la seule réponse: on va appeler la police !!! Du jamais vu … hôtel très particulier…

Peu mieux faire.
L'hôtel est ancien, il mérite un bon rafraîchissement, il y a des odeurs de moisis dans la salle de bain. Sinon le lit est confortable et le ménage est fait chaque jour. Nous n'avons pas pris les petits déjeuners car il fait un tarif trop élevé de 9€ par personne.

Vous avez paye pour votre séjour une tarifs assez économique même moins chère d'un hôtel 1 étoile vous avez demande pour le petit déjeuner e je vous expliqué l'impossibilité de vous proposé cet service a cause des consigne sanitaire imposé part un décret gouvernementale. A cet stade pendant votre enregistrement vous étiez plutôt collerez e vous avez manifesté l'intention de quitté l'hôtel, je vous ai répondu que ce n'été pas un problème pour moi et j' était prêt a vous rembourse le montant de votre séjour. Finalement votre partenaire a continué son enregistrement e tout de suite ai prise le clés pour retrouvé ca chambre; a cet point vous avez changé d'avis e vous avez accepté de continué votre enregistrement et prendre possession de votre. chambre. Vous cofondée l'amabilité avec la fermeté; face a un client comme vous qu'il n'ai été pas très aimable depuis son arrivé. Donc nous tenons a vous précisé que votre commentaire critique n'est pas recevable; nous vous conseillons en vue de vos exigence de choisir des hôtels de catégorie supérieur et être prêt a paye un tarifs nettement supérieur au prix que vous avez paye dans notre établissement. Hôtel du Bon Accueil et de la Générosité
Nous avons été accueillis par un Maître d’hôtel très charmant avec beaucoup de classe, il nous a guidé vers notre chambre que nous avions réservée pour 5 nuits. Il nous a précisé les conditions de mise à disposition de notre hébergement ; les horaires du petit déjeuner, la réservation éventuelle pour le repas du soir, les visites à faire aux alentours.. etc. Le petit déjeuner est varié (sucré ou salé) pour une somme raisonnable de 9 euros, chaque matin le Maître d'hôtel prenait de nos nouvelles et parfois discutait avec nous. C'est une personne très cultivée et très chaleureuse, il reflète bien son établissement avec le souci constant et bienveillant pour ses invités. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et si nous revenons dans la région c'est comme une évidence de revenir dans cet hôtel. La Femme s'occupant de notre chambre est d'une gentillesse et d'un professionnalisme sans égal, la perfection dans son travail avec toujours le sourire et le bon mot. Précision : rapport qualité prix ; très très bien.
