“Hotel de Mougins Jan 2010”

Wonderful value, excellent service, friendly employees, beautiful gardens and pool (in season). A delightful charm of an hotel, centrally located for Mougins, Valbonne, Cannes, Grasse - and only 20 minutes from Nice Côte d'Azur international airport. Number 1 pick in the region.

“Beautiful and Quaint”

This is a beautiful and quaint hotel in a serene environment. The grounds and gardens are very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly. The restaurant was also very nice. Our only issue was that they didn't have a permanent iron and ironing board in our room. We had to ask for one everyone morning. Otherwise, it's a great hotel.

“Great find”

I was in France on business accompanied with my wife, we chose hotel because located convenient to my meetings. What a pleasant surprise, wonderful rustic hotel with lots of character, room was spacious and comfortable, fine restaurant, and beautiful grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel, and will definately be staying there again for next years meetings.

“Beautiful hotel base for exploring the Cote D'azur”

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is set just outside the town of Mougins and is a great base for exploring neighbouring towns such as Cannes, Grasse, Antibes etc. I would recommend a car although there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. A small selection of restaurants near by and of course the hotel has a fine restaurant of its own. Lovely grounds with swimming pool and plenty of space to relax. I would recommend this hotel to all but would say it may be too quiet for those with younger children.

“Best value for money in the region.”

My wife and I are have been totally happy with Hotel de Mougins and enjoy returning each time we are in the region. Very friendly and efficient staff who willingly attend to any impromptu needs. The rooms are charmingly decorated in Provençal style, are very comfortable without being lavish and impeccably clean and well serviced. The location is excellent for Mougins, Valbonne, Grasse, Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Nice Côte d'Azur airport (20 mins).

“Nice small hotel”

It was a nice small hotel, far from the action. I recommed it for summer. It has beautifull swimming pools. And it does not have bell boys in the winter. The tile floor is cold for the winter. Nice restaurant.

“Loved it”

The setting was fab - lots of trees and areas to relax. The rooms were kept beautifully and the staff helpful and non-intrusive.

“Stylish and individual”

We've stayed in Mougins about 15 times - mainly in villas and town houses though we have tried a couple of hotels. We'd certainly go back. Main pluses - setting is charming - four old houses around a green, with a pool and restaurant. Staff are attentive and helpful eg around getting the wifi sorted out in the room. Food is good quality and lunch is good value. Minuses - not in central Mougins but very near. Struggling to think of any others.

Staff friendly. Well located but a car is essential. Hotel and neighbouring restaurants expensive. Old Mougins worth a visit.

Comfortable beds; pleasant welcome; excellent food in the dining room as a treat one dinner. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
