“Ideal short break hotel, bit dated in parts but very pleasant overall”

This is a hotel I would be quite happy to re visit, the location is perfect and quiet, so a quiet room is assured, yet it is only a block away from the seafront and amenities. The rail station is only a few minutes away and trains to Nice, Grasse ,Monaco etc. are frequent. My room was comfortable and spacious, bathroom large, but with cast iron bath (how quaint!) which was weird considering it was otherwise modern.Breakfast pricey and poor selection ( no fresh fruit) better go to lovely local bakeries for coffee and croissants etc. (confectionery,tarts etc. to die for!) All reception staff are 11/10,and language no problem,good old fashioned standards of courtesy and politeness prevail.

I really enjoyed my stay here. There was a bit of an issue with our arrangements for car service pick up from the airport but they quickly resolved the issue and accomodated our transportion on our departure to the airport. One block from the beach. It's not a high end glamourous hotel but it was clean and the location was perfect for our needs. We were there for the 51st Annual Jazz concert and it was walking distance to the event. There was plenty of nice restaurants and shopping. Lots of people in the streets every night.Nice restaurants on the beach as well. We sailed to Saint Tropez and it was convenient getting to the cruise ship. Most of our travel to Cannes, Nice and Monte Carlo was done by train which was right around the corner from the hotel. So, so easy. The location was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay there again.

“Quaint, Quiet, Clean and Friendly”

A find... though a block off the beach, it really doesnt matter. Great view of the Mediterannean. Attentive friendly staff, centrally located in very French Juan Les Pins, makes you feel like a native - a block away from bakery, deli and grocery shops, as there is no restaurant service after breakfast.

Refurbished to high standard, superior room was superb,staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Nightclub adjacent noisy at weekends,but still able to sleep,close to all amenities town centre and beach.

Hotel staff are all very polite and give the impression of a well-oiled machine. Conveniently located no more than a couple of minutes walk to the seafront and similarly to restaurants (of which there are a multitude both within the town, and along the beach). This is our fourth visit to Hotel Helios - the combination of the hotel, town and attractions in neighbouring towns and cities make it very worthwhile.

Quite big rooms with air con and a flat tv. Liked the balcony with some sea view. Good value for the money. Perfectly located near both the center of the city and the beach. Very friendly staff. A bit worn down but clean. Olof, Sweden

“Convenient situation”

Very convenient situation,handy for beach and railway station (with good service to all stations along the Cote d'Azur).

“Nothing fancy, but good value”

This is not where you want to stay if you're looking for Cote d'Azur glamor, but if you're on a budget and want a clean hotel with a friendly staff, this is a great choice. Everyone is very friendly and helpful -- even at my 4am check out! The breakfast buffet is hearty and plentiful, or take a short walk down the street for something lighter (and cheaper). The rooms are clean and comfortable and actually bigger than most French hotel rooms, but very basic. Note that the first pot of coffee is free, but you'll pay to have it restocked for addl days.

“A pleasant surprise!”

I was pleasantly surprised by my overall experience at the Helios Hotel. The reception staff were very pleasant, helpful, and spoke good English. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything that we needed. Parking underneath the hotel was v. handy. The location of the hotel was excellent for the Juan les Pins seafront and restaurants and shops etc. To cap it all, the room costs seemed very reasonable!
