“Ideal short break hotel, bit dated in parts but very pleasant overall”
This is a hotel I would be quite happy to re visit, the location is perfect and quiet, so a quiet room is assured, yet it is only a block away from the seafront and amenities. The rail station is only a few minutes away and trains to Nice, Grasse ,Monaco etc. are frequent. My room was comfortable and spacious, bathroom large, but with cast iron bath (how quaint!) which was weird considering it was otherwise modern.Breakfast pricey and poor selection ( no fresh fruit) better go to lovely local bakeries for coffee and croissants etc. (confectionery, tarts etc. to die for!) All reception staff are 11/10,and language no problem, good old fashioned standards of courtesy and politeness prevail.
