small and quaint hotel
Posted Jan 25, 2013
The hotel is nice and the proprietor is very kind. It is in a quiet neighborhood and in short walking distance to a variety of restaurants, a grocery store, a bakery, and the boardwalk. If you want a smoke-free room you need to ask for one when you arrive. If you plan to use the wi-fi you need to ask about it and they will provide you with an adaptor for better reception.

As cosy as a B&B
Posted Jan 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
Considering the prices for accommodation in the area, Ideal was perfect for what I wanted. A conveniently located place to spend two nights as part of a super quick visit to Juan Les Pins. I was not planning on spending much time in the room and I had some work to do in the evenings, for the rest I was spending time at the nearby beaches, 5min walk. Hosts very friendly and extremely helpful. Had problems with their wifi and they lent me their modem cable for the duration of my stay, so that I could get my work done. The hotel is really just a private home with a few rooms so it was as cozy as a B&B, you get front door key so you are fully independent. I could not get the tv to work but then again, I was not too bothered asking, I am sure they'd have helped resolve, if I had asked. Only thing I would recommend would be to ask for a first floor room. I was on ground floor, which meant I was not comfortable keeping windows and shutters open while in the room, the road is not that far. I am not sure if upstairs rooms have a balcony, but worth asking. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and hosts never showed signs of impatience with me trying to have a go with my broken French. I do not exclude going there again if I were to return to Juan Les Pins on my own again.

Good Stay
Posted Jan 3, 2012
Pros: Refridgerator was useful, free wifi and use of the kitchen
Location: Off the main road so not much traffic noise was heard.
I was made to feel welcomed and the owner tried very hard to make sure that we had a good stay. Basic accomodation but the refridgerator was a very useful and welcome addition to the room. Met all my needs as I was not looking for anything lavish, and it was not on the main street so traffic noise was minimal unlike another hotel I have stayed at in Juan les Pins. The bedroom wall was not too sound proof, but I only heard the noise from the room beside me on one occassion as they were packing to leave that morning and they talked very loudly. I would stay here again.
