Excellent HotelPosted Jun 24, 2015
Our three-night stay at the Hotel Sainte Valerie in the middle of June 2015 was superb. After arriving, hot and tired, from our train journey, the moment we went through the gates our luggage was taken from us by helpful staff and we were offered a seat in the garden with chilled rose wine while our room had a final check. Most welcoming. Our Cerise room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a charming balcony. All the facilities we could wish for, but we suggest the owners remove a rather strange lamp which resembled a huge, red spider and does no more than occupy space guests could use. The gardens were delightful, especially the spectacular displays of bougainvillea. The pool area, although small, was also attractive and bathing towels were always provided. However, the loungers amounted to instruments of torture even for those without dodgy backs. We suggest they also go the way of the red spider and new, comfortable ones provided. All in all, a most enjoyable stay at an unforgettable hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a very quite street.Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Boutique style, very chic, lovely pool and gardens, quiet street. Good service, room upgrade.
Cons: Price of breakfast is 20E bit pricey, otherwise nothing, amazing hotel.
Location: Wouldn't go in July and August would be too busy. Most bars serve cocktails, Pam Pam bar 15E each not worth it. Walk to Cap d'Antibe, beautiful walk.
You can get the 250 bus from airport to La Regency in Juan les Pins for 10E one way or 15E for return, well worth it. Trains are easily accessible and relatively cheap, very quick and clean. Do not eat on the street with a lot of restaurants on it behind Pam-Pam bar, got tummy bug twice. La Plage restaurant on front very good. Antibes 30 mins walking distance and lovely.

Charming, family run hotel set in beautiful gardenPosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: All of the above
Cons: ~A toaster would speed up the toast process!
Location: 5 Minutes walk to Juan Les Pins and a 20 minute walk to Antbes
Staff are fantastic- polite , efficient and low key. Hotel is Bed and breakfast only and you must not miss breakfast- its wonderful! Set outside in the beautiful gardens, we sat for two hours each morning enjoying delicious food including freshly squeezed orange juice and made to order omelettes which are cooked outside in front of you. If you wait long enough, tartes framboises will arrive and there is no hurry- breakfast is served until 11.30 The rooms are clean and comfortable with air con and lovely bedding, super towels and gowns and nice french products. The pool is small but charming, close to reception with drinks served next to your lounger. We loved this hotel- sitting in the sun or shade under vines and bougainvillea, enjoying a glass of wine before heading off into town was perfect

Helt fantastiskt hotell!Posted Jun 13, 2015

A five star hotel in disguise.Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: Location, size, garden and above all the staff.
Location: All the shops and restaurants are close by and the beach clubs for the hire of beds are less expensive than Cannes. We recommend the glass bottom boat
We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Sainte Valerie. It is in a quiet but very convenient location with an oasis like garden. We expected a 3 Star plus experience but after a day or two it dawned on us that we were experiencing 5 star. The housekeeping was the best of any hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was kept spotless , towels changed twice a day , supplies replenished , sheets turned down etc. The most memorable aspect of our stay will be the friendly, efficient and very personal service given by all the staff. Jennifer in particular was a star in her own right dealing with all the normal tourist type requests happily and swiftly but in addition sorting out my need to see a doctor when I fell ill. We like five star hotels but this was an rare experience of an underrated hotel offering a five star service and making you feel that they really cared about you. We will go back.

Pros: Staff and fabulous location.
Cons: Carpets in rooms not great but my preference is wooden or tiled floors. Shame hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch and diner.
Location: Great to be near to lovely beach and cafés etc. Great shopping and restaurants. Felt very safe as I was alone this was good.
Hotel clean and lovely atmosphere. Clean room and very friendly service. Staff excellent.

Elegant Hotel!Posted Oct 14, 2014 on Hotels
This is really nice, clean and quiet hotel! Staffs was friendly and helpful. I think this hotel is one of the best hotels in Juan-Les-Pins. I strongly recommend it to anyone who has a plan to stay in Juan-Les-Pins or Antibes.
