“Great staff, beautiful location and comfortable room”

I would highly recommend this hotel. Having read some none too complimentary reviews of it, I was expecting the worst and it was beyond a pleasant suprise. The location was beautiful and peaceful with well kept gardens and a good sized pool. Our room was more than big enough and provided all the necessities such as towels, shower gel, soap, bed linen and kitchen supplies. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and haopy and I am so glad that I chose the Cannes Rivage. I would not hesitate to stay there again - although i would hire a car so that i could get into cannes more easily as it was further than i thought.

The rooms are clean and we had a lovely spacious room overlooking the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed including a dishwasher! The reception staff were very, very helpful. The bar is nice in the evening and even managed to russle up my favourite cocktail! Very impressed indeed.

“Great place near Nice - The rate is perfect”

Perfect is the word. Nice room, very comfortable and very clean, nice large pool.

“Good place to stay with family.”

The hotel is in good location, well maintained and clean. Staff are friendly. I had booked the apartment for 6 people and they gave me the apartmetn for 4 people. Reason provided was that they had given our apartment to somebody else and had no other apartment.

“A pleasant place to stay”

No matter if you walk or drive the location of this hotel is most convenient. A 10-15 minutes picturesque walk along the river will get you to the beach, golfing, and the restaurants. The hotel grounds are very nicely designed and kept. The living room in a suite we occupied was spacious but we wished for more cooking surfaces and perhaps an extra chair or two. Our kids, 6 and 9 year old, enjoyed it a lot. The staff was extremely helpful, pleasant, and accomodating. We would certainly want to stay there again.

“Fantastic for families”

Excellent night's stay on a recent trip to South of France. Booked a one night stay as a stop over for Cannes, and was impressed with the level of facilities. The furnishings were contemporary and the apartment was very clean. Bedrooms quite small, but adequate. Good range of self catering equipment,and starter dose of dishwasher powder appreciated. Views from the room were a bit bleak over the car park, but for one night it wasn't a problem. Will definitely return.

“Only if you have a car!!”

This is more like a small town Motel. Actually, it is OK if you have a car and do not have business in Cannes, as it is some distance from donwtown. Roon and bath were clean and well kept but no room service at all. Have to go to the Supermarket and buy your dinner. Breakfast was not included. It was expensive and very limited (bread, butter, tea and a glass of juice). It is more of a stopover in your way than a destination, specially if you want to enjoy Cannes. Would not go back.

“disappointing !!”

The room was quite big but had no balcony, a shame when we could have sat out on the warm evenings. Hotel stated it has a pontoon where boats could be moored - the main reason for out vist to see if we could take our own boat there. The pontoon was smaller than the decking in our garden and had a boat permanently moored there. The bar lounge was just an area of patio and was not open most evenings whilst we were there(June) This was not mentioned in the hotel information. Pool small and loungers were soon claimed for all day, which made it unuasable. We will not be returning which is a shame because the information read as though we had found our perfect place.
