Les Genevriers CannesPosted Jul 20, 2010 on Hotels.com
We visited the residence in July 2010 the a accommodation is basic but with a 9 and 10 year old the facilities and staff were fantastic.Lovely pool area ,tennis, small crazy golf, boules, small play house with other games too, surrounded by a mature garden. July was hot, obviously, and fortunately we had brought a fan as the rooms ,perfectly spacious with a functioning kitchenet , but no air conditioning.Would return, but hope they may upgrade to include a/c .

Excellent séjourPosted Aug 25, 2008 on Hotels.com

Posted Aug 20, 2008 on Hotels.com

Ok I guessPosted Aug 10, 2008 on Hotels.com
Not clean since the former guest of the room is suppose to clean it before the leave. The balcony was very dirty. The room was ok, big balcony. Tiny cooking-place tho, not at all easy to make dinner. Nice garden and clean pool wich was empty all the time (probably because the beaches of Cannes is fantastic). Bad gym. The hotel is situated in a quiet place a bit from the city center, so we would recommend it for those who arrives by car, it´s not walking distance. There´s not always staff around, and when they are there´s not always someone who knows english.

Value for moneyPosted Jul 24, 2008
The hotel offers good basic accommodation (south facing studios/appartments are best). The decor is a bit tired in places but it is clean, bright and has a sunny, well maintained pool which doesn't get too crowded. There is also tennis and crazy golf, both free. The hotel itself is a bit out of town but the local bus service is very good - until about 8pm. After that it's taxi or a 25-30 minute uphill walk (at least that's my speed!). not too good if you want access to nightlife. However, if you want quiet, relaxation and access to beaches, shops and public transport to Nice, Monte Carlo etc the hotel represents good value for money, particularly if you're happy to buy food and have some meals there. The one potentially major hassle is the absence of reception staff except during set hours - could be a real problem if you forget your key. You MUST let them know in advance if you are arriving outwith normal reception hours or you could have a VERY long wait. A good knowledge of French would also be helpful.

Very good value for money, very peacheful and tranquil placePosted May 22, 2008
Would go back next year. During the festival they run a shuttle back and fourth to the main croisette. Very good value for money. Safe, clean and lovely staff. Also, enjoyed the swimming pool and view of the hills and ocean. Great tennis courts too! Also, child friendly.
