“Good hotel, fab location,”

Brilliant deal on room, good location and nice hotel, but stay spoilt by no working air conditioning, therefore windows had to be left open, leading to bad sleep due to street noise and biting insects.Unfriendly attitude when checking out was disappointing.

“More like a two or three star hotel”

Very disappointed: promised a four star hotel - fell far short of that mark. The promised "LCD television with satellite channels" was an ancient fourteen inch portable with no remote control and just Sky News and CNN - no other channels showing. Worse, the advertised complimentary wireless Internet access proved to be a pay-for local Orange wi-fi hotspot that you have to log into the Orange French site and give your credit card details. Location good. Continental breakfast pricey and can be found at a third of the price in the cafe next door. Minimal room service catering. My room was the smallest I've seen in a four star hotel: the bathroom fittings looked like they belonged in a room twice the size and made showering near impossible. The room felt tatty and tiny - which I could take if the rest of the hotel had been full but it was pretty much empty. Paper thin walls.
