“Best location for train travelers”

Teranga is a charming little place one block from the train station and about six blocks from the beach -- you can't beat that! The staff was terrifically friendly and knowledgeable. Although the rooms are on the tiny side, that is no problem. Nice little garden in back where you can have a good breakfast. You can walk outside and stroll right down the main street lined with bakeries, cafes, laundries, and everything else you could want or need. Juan-les-Pin is far less expensive than Antibes, even though it is right next door and connected by a cute little train on wheels as well as the train on tracks. Teranga will cost you half to a third what the Antibes hotels cost, so why throw money away? If you are going to Cannes, that's only a 7 minute train ride away, and Nice is about 20 minutes away. I would always stay at Teranga.

“Good for a value hotel.”

Came here for business. The hotel is basic, and subsequently, inexpensive. Good value. The staff were very nice and very helpful and accommodating. Physically the building, or rooms could use a make over, but it's cheap so what else to you want. I read some negative reviews but booked this place anyway. Was absolutely fine for budget travel. Wireless is in the lobby NOT your room as an fyi. Conveniently located near the train station and bus routes for conferences in MIP. Reception is not available late at night.

“Would return any day”

The hotel provides basic needs a weeks holiday at a reasonable price. what it lacks in 5star quality is balance by staff who always want to give the best service & communicate in english!! It is ideally placed for rail station and excellent facilities of Juan-les-pins.

“much better than I'd expected...”

I'd read some grim reviews of the hotel, so I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised! The receptionists were all extremely helpful and charming. They spoke good engish. The position of the hotel was great, a minutes walk from the centre, whilst being on a quiet street meant a good night's sleep. The room was fine, though a few touches such as a fridge, and a good quality shower curtain and loo seat would have improved it greatly. The cleaners were excellent, my room was done by midday every day. I didn't bother with the breakfast. The only minus point was that for 2 days the airconditioning wasn't working properly, and it felt like I was sleeping in a kebab shop. However, they called someone in to mend it fairly swiftly, and I was happy with the service. Overall, it was absolutely fine, convenient, and I would definitely go back.

“Efficient location”

Very efficiently located at 3 min. walk from the beach. Very easy acces to Nice, Cannes and Vielle antibes. We do recommend to rent a car. It will make your stay so much more interesting. Juan Les Pins is a nice little village next to Antibes. Worth the visit.

“Good for the price”

Not great but not bad. Clean and cheap. Close to everything. If you are looking for luxury...this is not the place. But if you are looking to enjoy the area and can live with modest accommodations...then this place will work. Friendly staff as well.

“Not quite what I had expected”

On this vacation stayed at a 2-star hotel in Nice, France (Comfort Hotel) and this 2-star in Juan-les-Pins/Antibes (Teranga Hotel). Wow, what a difference! The Comfort Hotel was really nice, clean, fresh and new. Teranga's lobby & breakfast dining area was really nice, but the room was awful. The shower and shower curtain were disgusting. The hotel description said the hotel was 200m from the beach which implies you might just about be able to see the water from the hotel. In actuality, it was much closer to 1km from the beach. Not a bad walk, but when you expect it to be a block or so from the beach, it is not so convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and ample - bagettes, croissants, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt.

The helpfulness of the hotel staff made out stay most enjoyable. The location is great.
