“nice change of scenery”

friendly and clean, good location altho near a main road there was little to no noise. would recomend for business and short stay .. only 30 miles from alton towers so cheaper option than staying onsite at towers resort.

“My experience”

Comfotable and staff friendly and helpful, clean. I only slept the one night and did not explore to see if there were anything else to do.

“Needs a revamp!”

Staff were pleasent tho seemed to be new and had difficulty checking us in, hotel was clean but grotty looking everywhere looked like it needed either a good coat of paint. The bedroom carpets were stained and burnt and the bathroom was very small. But.. if you're just looking for aplace to sleep it was fine

“If you like long hallways”

This hotel has a single entry point, and it's a long long walk to the farthest room. There were two loud wedding parties going on when we arrived, but we were given a quieter room when we asked. Breakfast is way overpriced ($25 for a cooked English breakfast) but there's a very English truckstop 1/2 mile west on the A5 that serves good food fast.

“Satisfied”

The hotel was ok, as we got a good deal through Expedia, If I'd booked through the hotel and paid their prices I would have been disappointed.

“Average”

This was an average hotel. Fairly large rooms for European standards, but in the middle of nowhere. The adress listed is a drive back to the hotel and was difficult to find, We even had a GPS system on our rental car, and it could not locate the hotel. Fine hotel for passing through, which was what we were doing.

Basic,but very clean, comfortable,good price and good location.Hotel could do with an upgrade.

“Faded”

Roman Way Hotel is well past it's sell by date. The decor and furnishings are poor, as are the door locks. Single females; don't book in here!!
