Tenuta San Pietro

Tenuta San Pietro is a gem in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. We arrived to gorgeous weather into absolute serenity. It's peaceful, clean, extremely well kept and has fabulous service. The staff really make the place perfect - they provide excellent service. It's so quiet and the pool and rooms are lovely. Charmingly decorated it was perfect! A car is needed to get around, but location was it was idyllic! Great views! Could not recommend this place more, we will definitely be returning!

This hotel is fabulous! Very nice atmosphere, stylish, very clean, excellent food and an incredible view! Very relaxing in the pool after a long day of site seeing. The staff could not be nicer or more accomodating. They are more than happy to accomodate your requests. The food and drinks were wonderful - outstanding - best we had in our two weeks in Italy! Location was wonderful. Just a short distance to the wonderul little town of Lucca and a short drive to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an wonderful alternative to a large hotel in the city. Several of the other guests there were repeat customers ... always a good sign! We can't wait to go back again soon!!

This hotel has a great staff who make you feel like you're visiting old friends. the location while beautiful in that it is way up in the Tuscan hills may not be for everyone as the hotle is far from anywhere and very difficult to find. Food was very good but the menu needs to change more frequently. The only negative thing was that this "relais de silence" has very noisy rooms. We could hear the person snoring all night in a room near us and every sound can be heard.
