The end of the season is always a great place to be in PTown! Great views, and very friendly staff. There were a few things that need repair in the room that we pointed it out to them. Everything was wonderful. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Loved it, especially the tiny porch. Sparklingly clean. Just a couple of comments: (1) room was very small (all hotel room photographs make the rooms look large); (2) need at least another chair in the room; (3) need hooks in bathroom to hang clothes on!

we did have an electrical problem in the room that was nor really fixed. we were nor able to open the french door out to balcony there was a missing handle/faucet in the tub.

Being on the cape in these beach towns (like any beach town) the properties are older and not updated but they have their beach charm. The room was great, view was amazing and the location was perfect! The owner is amazing and friendly and overall a very nice guy.

Anchor Inn is one of, if not THE best stays directly on Commercial St (the heart of P-Town). Owners Michael and Chris were so friendly and so good to us! You can't beat the views both from the front and the rear of the Inn! Direct ocean view out back, direct Commercial St access out front. Spending time sitting out on the expansive front porch was heaven! Plenty of easy parking for registered guests. I will always look to the Anchor Inn first when planning a trip to Provincetown!

The ground floor sea view room is facing the parking lot. The overall building needs some renovation. Breakfast is very basic.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.We are right on the bay and yes our parking area is directly behind the building on the water side. We are very lucky to have small parking area that we home. Some guest houses do not have any parking.Our complimentary continental breakfast is basic. It's not meant to be a full breakfast. Coffee, juice and tea. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese and a fresh baked muffins.

Terribly disappointing and frustrating
This hotel is right in Commercial Street which we thought would be great for walking around Provincetown. However it has a big front porch with a row of seating which is apparently open to guests all night long with no curfew. We were assigned the room right off the lobby, immediately on the front porch. There was a large group that planted themselves on the porch and they proceeded to party on the porch until almost 2:00 am. They came in and out of the lobby all night, yelling to each other as they came and went back out. We texted the property owner who lives on the premises and never received a response. Needless to say it was impossible to sleep. The owner knew it was Bear Week in town and he knew there would be a lot of partying (which we were fine with, we would just hope the owner would have left that room empty knowing the guests would not be able to rest at night. And if they want to generate income from the room they should enforce a curfew for use of the porch after a reasonable hour. We requested another room at 12:22 am (after listening to the noise for hours) and received no response. We should not have been charged for a room in which he knew we were subjected to excessive noise until 2 in the morning. Thus was noise taking place ON the property.

Our apologies, as we never received a message from you.However, we would not have been able to move you as we are completely sold out for Bear Week.Most of our Bear Week guests have been staying with us for more than 10 years. No guest house owner is going to be leaving rooms empty during the busiest weeks of the season.Our apologies on your sleep quality but I always tell anyone that books with us directly or inquires that Bear Week and Carnival week are very busy and it can be noisey as we are on Commercial Street.

Right in the center of everything, Anchor Inn has wonderful people watching from the rocking chairs on the front porch, to beautiful views of the ocean from the rooms in the back. Particularly if you’re gay (we were there during a big gay party week), this place was such a fun and welcoming place for us. Would love to return!

There was no one at desk to sign in. I had a reservation that clearly stated 3pm checkin it was 3:11....instead there was a plasticized sheet stating they were closed for the evening, he returns 10 min. Later and says I just stepped out for a coffee. Not bothered a bit!!! They claim a Fireplace in the room....it was there just did not work. I understand it is early and not the busy season yet,but truthfulness would help. It was located as stated and cleanliness was excellent. The room was small.

Our well appointed room overlooking the water was wonderful! Spectacular views! Very comfortable sectional couch w King bed. Shower with port window overlooking Provincetown. Location Right in the middle of great shopping and restaurants!

Beautiful old house transformed into a B&B. Right near shops, restaurants, etc. but about a block and a half from where it starts to get noisy. Perfect location and friendly attentive staff.

A wonderful stay!
We have walked past this beautiful place for many years and we finally decided to book here. It is beautiful. The waterfront king room was perfect. The private deck was perfect for enjoying the bay. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff extremely warm.
