Nice area in the evenings with a fire pit.

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Indoor/outside pool, the sand area with chairs and tables behind the hotel What I really was surprised about was the complimentary breakfast.
Cons: bed mattresses
Location: boating, ocean, beaches, shops, cape cod mall
It was a good hotel, the only thing is there is a second floor and no elevator, so if you are lugging bags and suitcases up the stairs it can be exhausting.

Great hotel for the price

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: The pools, breakfast, child friendly
Cons: Rooms are a little dated, bath was a bit uncomfortable, downstairs room was a little dark
Location: Good for exploring nearby towns, beaches etc
We visited the Bayside with our toddler this June and found it to be a really great hotel for families with children. There are 2 nice pools, so if is rainy there is still something to do, and a very cute 'beach' area overlooking the salt marsh. Our room was downstairs and a little bit dark, but other than that very comfortable and clean. Overall, we thought it was a very good hotel for the money, with a good breakfast included!

Nice hotel for kids and adults

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: We loved the outdoor pool area with the bar and volleyball court. The sand area looking out to the bay was also nice to just sit back and relax.
Cons: The air conditioner was loud. The breakfast area was too small for the number of people.
Location: Only a few minutes from the beaches to the south and 15-20 minutes from the beaches to the north. Mini-golf, shopping and great restaurants.
My family enjoyed our 4 night stay a this resort and it was in a great location.

Beautiful views, beach, pools and volleyball!

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff, plentiful breakfast, clean room, nice pools, and beautiful view.
Cons: The front desk could give a friendly reminder to patrons about the noise levels in rooms, especially between 11 pm to 8 am.
Location: We did Race Point Beach/Ferry:Hyannis to Martha's Vinyard/Woods Hole/Wellfleet Drive-In/Cape Cod Chips Tour/Cape Cod Trails biking/mini-golf/shopping.
Our family stayed five nights at the Bayside Resort Hotel. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay. The breakfast was crowded with people, but orderly, and the staff did a WONDERFUL job keeping all of the food and supplies stocked throughout breakfast. How can you beat an included breakfast with coffee, waffles, pastries, and lots of fresh apples and bananas? The hotel staff was friendly and polite. The beach outside the hotel was beautiful, well maintained, and the fire added a nice touch to have a relaxing end to the day. The volleyball court was right next to the outdoor pool, and an outdoor bar was open if the weather was nice. The indoor pool was great, as well as the hot tub and saunas, and all areas seemed well maintained. I have two helpful additions for readers...some of the pictures are a little deceiving. You cannot get to the water at the hotel to kayak, boat, or swim, but you can see it on the other side of the marsh. I also totally concur with the consistent theme we read about the thin walls. There is no other way to say it, when your neighbors talk, you feel like you are a part of the conversation. I did well with the TV on, but the neighbors decided to sing karaoke before midnight the night before we were leaving early for an eight hour drive home. I MUST COMMEND the front desk. Within ten minutes of asking the front desk for help, the room became quiet enough for us to sleep. Keep the air conditioner blowing all night, and watch TV. :0

Reasonably priced hotel with good amenities

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Hotel staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and had great amenities including workout room, rec room/arcade, indoor and outdoor pools, bars, beach volleyball net, fire pit, and delicious continental breakfast. Only minor downfalls were slow internet and the rooms could use a bit of style and updating, but still very comfortable and clean.
