“Pure luxury on the Cape”

We stayed in one of the Spa Suites, and it was really like staying IN a spa. We had a whirlpool tub, steam shower, and sauna in our enormous room along with a fireplace. Gorgeous setting, beautiful grounds, great food.

“A perfect birthday”

We choose this resort, to spend a special birthday, and could not have been more delighted. From the spectacular sunrise, right through to the beautifully cooked meal in the evening, I could not have wished for a better setting.

We liked the hotel a lot. The room was big, which was definitely the best part. I wish the parking were better. The workers don't have their own lot, so they take up a lot of space. It was hard to find a space sometimes. Once, one of the staff blocked us in while they went to get a uniform, which was near our building. Other than that, it was great. Also, you need to put a card on your bed if you want your bed linens changed, otherwise they only do it once in a while.

“Superb setting for a holiday”

A picturesque location with outstanding service and amenities. The staff were both well trained and friendly. The food at the hotel was first class with 3 restaurants to choose from. We had a room in one of the cottages as opposed to the main inn and it was both spacious and well appointed. The hotel has it's own private beach and offers excellent pool/spa facilities. Another plus was the use of a complimentary bike throughout the duration of your stay as their are a lot of bike trails and other sights in the nearby locality.

“Classy to the max!”

Chatham is a lovely town on the Cape and the Chatham Bars Hotel is definitely upper class and exquisite. We were very disappointed in the lack of coffee makers in the room because we were in a separate cottage and is was a chilly walk to the main building. Also, for the price we paid, there should have been a larger t.v. Otherwise, the place was lovely with a perfect view of the bay and the ocean. Many people get married there and I can see why.

“Lovely but some problems”

Beautiful hotel and a wonderful location only spoiled by hard bed (I travel 50% of the time so this was a surprise), noisy floor upstairs (no sound insulation?) and very poor service in Tavern dining room (may be due to offseason?).

“Beautiful Hotel”

Although we booked a room in the main house, we were upgraded to a room in one of the cottages across the street. Fireplace was nice (it was a cool and windy weekend). Workout facility in main hotel was great although 2 machines were broken. Spa was nice and both treatments were great. Food and drinks are very expensive at the hotel; walk into town for better choices and lower costs. Free coffee at the main house by 5:30 a.m. We would come back.

“Make sure you go in season!”

Place a little quiet out of season (May). Room was lovely, but place did remind me of staying in a golf club. service was at all times impeccable.
