The toilet flush was broken, and the toilet was smelly. The hotel should have noticed this before accommodating people in the room. Moreover, the room was not properly cleaned.

I couldn’t decide how many stars to give this place because there were good 👍 things and not so good 👎 things that I know were out of the control of the hotel staff. The room they gave us needed some repairs: shower sliding door fell off the track then was super tight to open once we pulled it back on the track. Toilet was not sealed to the floor so it moved when ever we used it. Shower head cap was not sealed to the wall. Bed too firm for us. I called front desk and they upgraded us to a better and remolded room. It is a pet friendly hotel but people need to be more careful keeping pets leashed or at least secured especially if you know your pet is a runner. My husband and I were NOT expecting to be jumped/attacked by a very large dog as we were walking down the hall to the elevator. Pretty scary. The good 👍: staff was wonderful, friendly and welcoming, the breakfast selection was wonderful, cleanliness excellent, plenty of parking. Very close to dock to take the ferry, great restaurants nearby.

This is by far my favorite place to stay when I’m traveling with my fur baby. The staff is amazing, warm and welcoming. And considering the fact that pets are welcomed, it is amazingly clean which isn’t always the case at pet friendly hotels. Thank you for making us feel special.

Generally a great stay… the warmth of shower water was hit or miss, and we stayed on a very stormy night with the flagpoles outside our window… so didn’t get the best sleep. Very firm beds. Great breakfast.

The worst experience I ever had in a hotel. 1 - Vending machine took my money i went to front desk no one was there. I had to wait for 15 minutes. 2 - Hot tube stopped working on the first night. They couldnt fix. On next day they " get fixed" . Two hours later stopped working again. Then they decided to move me to another room. 3- I found hair on bed. 4 - The fridge wasnt working right . My food got frozen. 5- When they moved me I didnt get keys and i never got because their system was down. Nightmare.!! Everytime i had to leave the room i had to ask someone to open it. Hotel is clean, and they have a back yard for dogs. That's nice , but they need to improve their customer service.

This has become my favorite place to stay on the Cape. Not many hotels are dog friendly and clean. This hits the spot. The staff is very friendly and welcoming each time we stay. We look forward to our next visit.

When we arrived for check-in, they over booked our room but they did offer us a room of lesser value and offered us some money back. Hotel was very clean but be sure to arrive at check-in time.

Disappointing
This hotel is in a great location. For our stay, it was smack in the middle of everything we planned to do. There were restaurants easily nearby. Our disappointment was with service and accommodation. The room was very nice size and very clean. The mattress was horrendous. We both had difficulty sleeping and awoke with aching back during our stay. I talked to the front desk on the first morning and asked if they could put extra mattress pads or mattress topper on it or perhaps change out the mattress. We were touring all day and came back at night, and to our disappointment, nothing was done, and our room was not serviced by housekeeping as I had requested at check-in the day prior. The next morning, I again asked the desk if they could do something on the mattress, and the clerk, who did not have a name tag on, told me, "I doubt it." When I asked her to check and see if we were marked for housekeeping, she replied, "Yeah, you're on there." I mentioned that I had asked for the prior day too, and it wasn't done, so I just needed to be sure it would be done this day. Her reply was a hasty "You're on the list". We always stay at Hampton Inn when traveling, and I was surprised by the lack of customer service and the attitude of the desk clerks. We are usually very comfortable and very happy at Hampton Inn, This one, while it is very clean as is expected, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and service was poor.
