The room was fine. Good enough to sleep in and get ready for my event. Very outdated style and could use a new carpet.

Great staff!

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Free breakfast, pools, hot tub, location
Cons: The rugs, and some of the infrastructure.
Location: Kalmus, Kennedy and Seagull beaches, Kennedy memorial, Hyannis city are all close by. Taxi costs $8-$16 to these places; bus stop right outside hotel
The guys at the front desk did everything to make our stay comfortable. Extra towels, pillows, a cot, new coffeemaker...these guys are really hardworking and responsive. We were really touched when we called them from the bus stand after we left because my mother had left her glasses in the room. They brought the glasses to us at the bus stand.

Practical Location near Hyannis

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Two decent pools to swim in; the view of rustic Lewis Bay right behind the property; great location near a lot of things to do; very friendly staff.
Cons: Though our room was clean and the carpet was vacuumed, it truly needed a washing/steam cleaning. Everything else was fairly decent and clean.
Location: Swimming: Seagull Beach or West Dennis Beach. Shopping: Main Street Hyannis. Mini golf @ Wild Animal Lagoon. Duck Boat tours in Hyannis (fun!).
This was a last minute trip so we took what we could get and this property was adequate and comfortable. The front desk staff (Dan, Jimmy and Kolbe) were very friendly and accommodating. The room is a good size so if you need a roll-away cot, you have the space for it. There is both a nice outdoor pool and indoor pool, as well as a sauna on site. They do close around dusk so it's a good idea to ask the exact hours of operation for the pools depending on the time of year for your arrival because it could change and be even earlier. A continental breakfast is included, from 0700-0930 daily and it's more than an adequate "gut patch". They have cereal, oatmeal, bagels, pastries, etc. The location of the facility is on Route 28 in West Yarmouth, so it's close to both Seagull Beach (turn right upon exiting the property and keep going south on 28 a bit more) and Hyannis Main Street (just go left out of the motel and head north on 28, which becomes Main Street, a great place to walk and check out the shops). This is a basic, no frills establishment but the it's very reasonable, price-wise for Cape Cod and you get breakfast so it's worth a look. We would use this facility again as a place to stay when we return to the Cape.

There was a mothball in my bed. Smell humidity +++++. Do not look at the filter of a/c or even the one for ventilation (horror). We stay on the first floor > we heard all night long the people on the upper floor walking and doing other thing. Not only the room over us. Seriously awful awful place

Filthy room, not exactly cheap,either!

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything. See above. How about a paint job, clean blankets or even a hook to hang wet bathing suits up?! It is CapeCod after all!!!
We were looking for an inexpensive motel for 3 nights. Obviously, we realize it is prime time on Cape Cod. Still ended up costing a little over $500. The "suite" was essentially a reg size hotel room w/2 Queen beds. The extra "bed" was a futon that was broken so it didn't open all the way flat. The blanket had old burn holes. The rug was filthy and turned our feet black. Ripped screen on slider. Paint peeling off wall. Mold in bathroom prob due to no working fan in bathroom. No screen in bathroom window. Parking lot littered w/cig butts and duck turds. No working electrical outlet for hairdryer, phone charger, etc. Air conditioner exteremly noisy. Both pools murky/cloudy water. We were going to check out after the first night. Don't bother staying here. Spend the extra $ and go somewhere good.

Very Disappointed

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Totally update the rooms
Location: The location was fine
The beds were hard as a rock. the tiles in the bathroom were loose which made it hard to close the door. Sheet were stained and the bedspread had holes. Definately was not worth $179 a night. Never again.

Just gross

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Feared for my safety. Rooms were disgusting. Rusted swing set out back? Swimming pool was so overchlorinated(thankfully to kill whatever staph infection likely in area), couldn't see kids feet. I feel like taking a chemical shower just thinking about the place.
