It sucked.

Switched to the White Wind Inn after one night. Was a billion times happier at the White Wind. Sandcastle seemed desperate and pathetic and tried every trick to make us stay.

Great base foe Cape Cod

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Lots of facilities (didn't use either of pools but staff offered to take covers off if we wanted a dip!!), superb location (go for sea view rooms)
Cons: Used the hire bikes but they needed some maintenance despite being described as 'two of their best'
Location: Walk the causeway from Provincetown harbour over to the lighthouse but watch out for the tide coming in, going over some of rocks & cutting you off
Very helpful staff, room had all yhe facilities for self-catering & fantastic views out to sea!

Fairly helpful staff, but location from the center of provincetown is a disadvantage.

A nice, cozy hotel, pretty much right on the beach. I was only in town briefly for a wedding and didn't have time to check out the many amenities (pools, breakfast, etc), but it seemed like an amazing place to spend a few days, and I wished I had more time to check it out. Maybe next year!

relaxing and comfortable

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: It was right on the beach and far enough from town to be relaxing and quiet.
Cons: I think the check-in time of 4pm is on the late side. A 3pm check in would be more suitable and accommodating.
Location: the hotel was about a mile from the center of Provinctown, a little too far to walk yet accessible to a shuttle going into the center of town.
Our studio overlooked the ocean and was just beautiful. The room was newly renovated and was very clean and comfortable. The noise level was reasonable for an older place. We could hear movement upstairs, but absolutely no sounds from the studios next to us. I would definitely go back again, especially to the ocean front studio we stayed in!!

Everything is outdated.

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: There are two sections, One on the beach and one not.
Cons: Remodel
It is a very old hotel and everything in it is as old as the hotel itself.
