Quiet getawayPosted Sep 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall, we were pleased with our stay. I chose this hotel because of the gluten free breakfasts. This is an older, small B & B, so you must keep this in mind. There will of course be some modern conveniences missing. We found we could do without them for awhile. We were supposed to stay in the Carriage House, but the water heater broke there. so we stayed in the main house instead. The first thing my husband mentioned is that it was clean. The hotel was in the middle of everytwhere we wanted to go. Sarah, the Innkeeper, is very friendly and a good gluten free cook. The pancakes, waffles and baked peaches were especially tasty. My husband, who is not gluten free, could not tell the difference in her cooking.

Perfect blend of updated and rusticPosted Aug 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed two nights in the Carriage House. It was remarkably spacious overall, though the bathroom was on the small side. The king bed was very clean and comfortable, and there was a pleasant sitting area, flatscreen TV, free wifi, and a kitchenette which was nice but we didn't actually use it. Sarah (owner) was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good--as far as we could tell there was exactly one choice each day. The room and area were remarkably quiet--we slept really well on both nights. The Inn is very well located, though a bit of a walk to the beach--but it's off the main heavily trafficked route. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Quaint and Historic InnPosted Aug 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a lovely two night stay at this quaint bed and breakfast. The innkeeper/owner was very friendly and we and another couple who arrived early but at the same time, were kindly welcomed and showed to our awaiting rooms. The breakfast is fantastic.

Sarah was so accommodating and not to mention a great cook. Our room was always spotless and beautiful. The entire inn had so much character and is so well kept. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. I did not miss the commercialized hotel chains and their average service people AT ALL. We felt very well taken care of. I will definitely stay here again. (July 25th-July 28th)

Nice Boutique Hotel with Friendly InnkeeperPosted Sep 4, 2013
My wife and I stayed over July 4th holiday. We were greeted warmly by the innkeeper/owner upon arrival. She gave us some really good recommendations about local attractions. Every morning, she served really nice homemade breakfast to the guests. The place is really clean, cozy, and conveniently located. Highly recommended for its location and friendly innkeeper.
