Location is wonderful but place needs an update!

Posted Jul 28, 2014
It's great to have the pool in the middle of the motel and the local beach was in walking distance but the smell of the room was not pleasant and the room just really needs an update. While it has everything one needs it felt that the place was pretty run down (toilet paper was attached to a board that was bolted into the tile, the bar that held the role was loose so the roll kept falling down). While this is not the end of the world it's an example of the level of fixing that was done over the years (or not). Don't expect the wifi to work in the room either, you have to sit in the breakfast room right next to the router for it to work so if you depend on wifi, that's where you will spend your time!

We would return to the Dunes

Posted May 28, 2014
Our experience was very good. We had a destination wedding with many guests coming from great distances. We needed some rooms to add to the vacation rental that we had in the area. The staff was very courteous, helpful, the rooms clean, quiet (the hotel was full) and across the street from the beach...exactly what we needed.

It is clean and adequate. Don't expect too much, but for the price it was fine.

Great Location

Posted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Great location, friendly staff.
Cons: We were late season, so pool had been closed.
Location: Seagull Beach and West Dennis Beach are great. Seaview Beach and Parker's River Beach were walking distance. Great restaurants.
This is a nice location near the beach and near Rte 28 with many close by restaurants and attractions. Seagull Beach and West Dennis Beach are close by and Seaview Beach and Parker's River Beach are walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not far from the airport.

GREAT MOTEL NEAR BEACH AND ATTRACTIONS

Posted Oct 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Me and my wife were very satisfied with our stay. Room was clean and convenient. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Free Breakfast was great. Many people want luxury of a mansion at the nightly rate of a tent. Great value for the money

An Inexpensive Stay In Nice Quiet Location.

The Hotel Is Older, But Maintained. It Only Has An Outdoor Pool. Beds Were Firm With Ample Pillows. The Room Did not Smell Of Cigarette, Very Important To Us.

3 Night Stay Was Enjoyed!

Posted Sep 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Owners Jack & Ruth were very accommodating during our 3 night stay. Some of the rooms are in the process of undergoing renovation but are very clean. Our original room had a serious leaky sink pipe but we were moved to another room. The Dunes Motor Inn is charming and in a great location being close to the beach, restaurants, attractions, and shopping. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great place to stay!

Posted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a lovely stay. The Inn is located in a residential neighborhood, which is nice and quiet. It's also a five minute walk from a lovely beach. The owners were pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy. We didn't get to use the pool, but it looks as if it would have been fun! We would definitely stay here again!

Charming motel close to beach

Posted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owners were very friendly and the motel is in a lovely setting, in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of a beach. The beds are very comfortable and the room was fine, though bathroom needs updating. The continental breakfast was more than adequate, and since the motel is off the busy Rt 28, the owners welcoming with comfortable rooms, I'd highly recommend it.

Stay experience

Posted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: The location. The pool area seemed okay. Staff was nice and helpful when needed.
Cons: Update towels, very scratcy, do more through cleaning, need better blinds, maybe add curtains for better coverage.
Location: Beach, shops, restaurants.
The stay was ok, met our needs as it was close to where we wanted to be but the rooms were not very clean. The blinds did not work well and where they did not have curtains on top of the blinds you did not feel you had much privacy. The blinds were very dirty as we had to keep playing with them to make sure they were closed. The rooms could use some updating.
