“the cleanest nices cheapest option for close to Hyannis”

we checked out a bunch of the surrounding motels and this was by far the nicest and best of the low price options. clean room, fairly updated, comfortable bed, only 2 miles to Hyannis port. continental breakfast on sat/sun was passable-- cereal, muffins, bagels. Front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. this was the perfect spot for us to get a good night sleep before taking the ferry over to Nantucket. would definitely stay here again.

this motel has just been renovated and it really shows. i have stayed at many motels in the cape and by far this is my favorite. they have a decent breakfast, large pool and the rooms are great. the rooms have a hotel feeling and have really comfortable beds. i am pregnant and could hardly get a good night sleep... but here it was great.

If u just wanna have a roof to stay under while on vacation this is just the right thing and more.You don't pay much, do not expect much, but yes u do get more than u pay for.

Here's the deal- For the price, the Thunderbird is good stuff. I've now stayed there twice while house-hunting on the Cape. For a place to sleep, and your not looking for a resort, the Thunderbird is perfect. Clean, decently convenient, can't complain. I've never had the breakfast, although I've been told it was there. Never been in the pool, but again, it's right there. I've never been bothered by noise, or anything really at this place. It is not a luxury hotel, and it has had it's share of remodeling, but again, for the price, it is hard to beat. To address some things I've read- No, they do not have flat panel TV's, they have perfectly working CRT (tube) TV's with Cable, I don't see the issue(?). While I've read of confusion about breakfast (they have it/they don't), they have offered it to me both time's I've gone, however, I've always been out and about and done my own thing for breakfast. All in all, in my opinion, if your looking for a place to sleep and drop your stuff, it's a fine place.

Our stay at the Thunderbird Motel was wonderful. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We were a late check-in and the attendant at the desk was very helpful. I would recommend a stay here and would stay here again should I be in the area.

first off i was there many yrs ago before they re did the rooms .They are cleaner but our room had some issues .Mostley in the bathroom the toilet didnt flush real good the handle was all but falling off the back of the toilet was broken and the wall under the toilet had a hole and what looked like rust yrs ago when i stayed there they had small fridges in each room, well ours did not and we were counting on it to keep stuff cold so we had to make several trips out. also there used to be more pools there now just the one .I was looking forwardto using the pool side jacuzzi but it was not flled or even working it had yellow tape around it so all in all the rooms may be repainted but actually considering they actually took stuff away it was somewhat dissapointing. The location is great close to every thing and the bed super comfy .Like i said you get what you pay for .its a clean inexpesive room.
